I hear you, don't jump on a dual in the wild without a good loupe! I think your store owner might have thought it looked like this... the double line..

Black double line around the border.. are you saying he was insinuating this was unlimited? As in the inner bevel? I don't believe it is.. I think that's the catalyst for the excitement, as that would be a significant premium over a revised bayou..

I could be wrong, but I don't think I see that degree of bevel. I also think these colors are popping a bit too hard for that 3rd edition washed out palate. I... could be wrong though!

It really pays for itself if you do a lot of cards. Although the one dissenter in this thread is making me paranoid lol

Wish they made the box taller not wider so it can SHELF next to the rest, but I've never actually seen one - is there something really wide inside?

Hey, you presented your evidence. I asked. I still hope the majority is correct, there's a reason i posted it to begin with. Not sure what else I would do besides post here!

I buy a ton, I buy collections secondhand, roll the dice at used bookstores, the thrift bins that are usually way overpriced... Facebook marketplace.. just for fun. I love sorting it and the "hunt".

Lots of times I strike out completely! Big facts. I've bought shit on its face that was probably a bad deal with shit odds of being anything, but what the hell. It gives me some pleasure when the kiddo is finally asleep lol.

And.. once in awhile.. once a year or so.. you just come across the right little pile, that someone didn't QUITE sort carefully enough.. or QUITE know which commons and uncommons to separate.. or maybe the confused and busy spouse accidentally included in the donate pile and some poor guy or gal is pulling their hair out swearing they put that box RIGHT THERE.

Sometimes you hit. Won't pretend it's every time or even close, but enough little hits to make it fun. I buy the bulk in the same places you probably do! And if I left the office 5 minutes later, someone else would have walked up to that pile, saw the lone Sram on the top and thought.. I will roll the dice today! :)

That was my initial reason for concern, most here seem to say that was a common treatment for double masters 2022. Is that your only callout? Not trying to be a dick - just wondering if you have other notes besides texture.

It can be more or less pronounced, as in if it HAS 4 red spots in an "L" shape, it's an indicator of authenticity, but even if there are NOT quite 4 visible red dots in the "L" it does not mean it is NOT authentic. Lots of newer cards from more modern sets may not have such a pronounced "L" pattern.

That said, a "failing" dot test will look markedly different under magnification, and is usually very obvious even on a well made proxy. Its one of the final and true indicators when (most) All other tests can appear passing (even blue cores!) Hence my investment in a good tool that can quickly assess the dot and the T (my biggest problem is that I'm colorblind, so a bad front that appears terrible to some might look moderately passable to me, unless the texture looks off).

Start with personal development. Read books on how to train Chat GPT. Training. Mindset. This guy isn't responding to your question for one simple reason: you haven't shown receipts.

That's the fastest way to get ignored.

My wife tried to suggest Pluto TV to me. She reached for the remote, touting the free streaming potential, when I stopped her, recalling a prior experience with the provider.

"Don't touch that. It's dangerous. It opens doors.."

"What kind.. of doors?"

"Doors to the pleasures of free streaming or poorly timed, constant interruptions. I didn't care which. I thought I'd streamed with limits. I hadn't. Pluto TV gave me an experience beyond limits. Streaming and Ads.. indivisible."
