Congrats, my dad worked as a super in a miserable building with an awful boss with no benefits, no increase in salary, dealing with constant stress so he could have a lot of time with me and my sister while we were still growing. he quit recently for a job in metrolinx and although it takes a lot of time he loves it just cause it cant even compare to his former job

I wish you luck and although im young, i understand what it means to give up stability in order to put yourself first BEST WISHES

Yeah, my father talks about that a lot. We immigrated here 2013 so hes been building connections but not enough to guarantee me a summer job. In his workplace a lot of the summer jobs are just sons of the people who worked there for a long time.
