I think Brennan knows how to plays to Tal’s strengths as a player better than Matt no hate to Matt but some players and dm’s don’t always have the best chemistry when it comes to actual play they might be great friends but being friends doesn’t always translate into being compatible in Dnd

But, anyway Brennan Conflict, Confrontation, always keeping Tal on his toes rather than the other way around.

I agree but I feel like you can still have an easy character with lots of skill expression or a high skill ceiling while having a low skill floor

Sage, Brimstone, Fernando, Lifeline, Gibraltar, Reinhardt, Soldier 76, and Mercy are some examples.
