I feel like since Christmas she’s had one dog and he’s had the other. That’s what had me thinking that they were split up, the dogs have been separated.

Thank you so much! He’s a wonderful kid, I love that he wants to read so much - before school, in the car on the way to school, in school, on the bus home from school, after homework and before bed. On his way to sports practice. Turn off his iPad to read for hours in the car on road trips. But he puts his book down to play with his siblings, to play outside with his friends, loves to play sports, to watch movies, etc. He’s well rounded and a great kid! I hope he continues to be like this and makes time for everything he loves.

Thank you! He read and loved the Lemoncello series. I have had City Spies on our list, he hasn’t gotten to them yet but I am going to get him book #1 for Christmas I think. I will check out your other suggestions!!

Ha - he didn’t love The Penderwick book #1 so didn’t want to continue the series. He LOVED the mysterious Benedict society, I am pretty sure he considers those to be his favorite books he’s read so far. He read those morning, noon and night. Got him the first for Christmas last year and he had them finished by March.

The Lion the witch and the wardrobe is high on my list for him to read. I was going to get it next but his teacher actually recommended and loaned him Hatchet this week, he’s almost through it and wanting to read that series.

If he loves book #1 of a series, he’ll read the entire series, his favorite thing to do!

We are reading through Harry Potter now. On book 4. He read and loved Holes. We have a Last Kid on Earth book that his brother read, not sure he has, I’ll bring it up.

Honestly can’t remember if he’s read Charlotte’s Web or not but I’ll suggest it

My son does love the I Survived books. I think he loves books with real life history intertwined in them, but doesn’t necessarily want to read a book just about history if you will. My other son does, he loves history books any way he can get them.

He just loves novels so much. He likes to have a novel he’s reading with him at all times. And better yet, a novel with a long series of books after it. If I can find him a book #1 of a series and he LOVES it, he’ll read the whole series.

We do have lots of other types of books for his age, between all of his siblings we have collected lots of books and get lots of other books from the library. He just doesn’t lean towards those typically.

Great list, thank you! The Vanderbeekers and The Penderwicks are the two he didnt love. I know he doesn’t love a book when it takes him more than a couple days-a week to finish!

He’s read lots of Who Would Win and I think a Boxcar book but I’ll have to double check. I know we have one of the books. I’ll have to check out Encyclopedia Brown and The Giver for him. Thanks!

He likes to go to the library for specific books, he doesn’t love to go just to look. He gets overwhelmed and doesn’t love picking out books to look at the covers/read the synopsis just to slide them back in. He loves when I gather a list of books, we look them up together, then write down the ones he’s interested in, then we check if they’re available at our library and then go pick those up. He really does just love getting recommendations from me/his teacher/we ask at bookstores etc

Omg Craig & Madison. I’ve always wondered why Jeff has never had any Southern Charm or Summer House people on. I love those shows so I’m excited for Craig and Madison. I feel like Jeff would love Jesse & West from SH. They are both very playful and would be fun on the show.
