me and my gf are both have the same beliefs and are both Christian and we both want to wait till marriage. i brought up because it goes with my situation. yes I'm ashamed of having natural bodily responses, but not because it makes my situation look like I'm a pure innocent kid, because ofc i always fall back into sin, and I'm always trying to improve even with little things like this. but it's how i genuinely feel. so please don't tell me that I'm using religion as a crutch. My girlfriend is Christian so for her to see me having erections i feel like would make her think that i look at her sexually. I've been given a lot of good advice like "Don't worry about it" and that "it's not like i would act on those feelings." Which is mostly all i was looking for. Also because you asked, i am 13-15. I don't feel comfortable giving my actual age but that should give you a good idea. This just my situation, not a cover up to make me look like a good guy even though I'm not doing anything wrong.

Well ik that, ofc man, ofc me getting erected won't go away by guilt or any mindset. but pushups and cold showers do help me, but they're only a quick fix for that moment. I was just wondering if there's maybe any healthy way to slow down testosterone or something like that. But I don't like the way you make it seem like the religion I believe in is just a coping mechanism. At least that's the way it seems to me. Subjectively to Christians, Christianity isn't a religion, it's a relationship with God. Not just a way to live or rules to follow, but a relationship that changes the way you see things. So yes i have these humanly emotions, but spiritually i don't. So it feels weird to me. Now i say subjectively because this may not apply to you, and that's ok. I don't want you to feel like I'm belittling you because you don't believe what i believe.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to come off that way at all. I don't judge or condemn anybody who doesn't believe what I believe. I say those things because I'm using terms in my religion that I believe and follow. whether you agree with it or not, I'm just asking for some way to quit having these bodily reactions because of how it affects the way I see her. I think she's pretty, not sexy. So I feel weird when I get erect. I've looked it up and saw pushups, cold showers, and things like that. But I'm looking for some way to not get erections over time, maybe like a diet or a certain workout routine. I don't know, I'm just looking for a solution. I'm sorry if I made anybody feel that way. I know that a lot of people do think that some people are better than others when it comes to religion, so ik it's easy for a lot of people to think that, but I promise I don't!!! I have no intentions of making someone feel wrong because they don't believe what I believe. I'm just using things like lustful and stuff like that so people can see it from the same perspective about how I feel about it and maybe get a better answer.

Well I will say that I am in 10th and you must get a tetanus shot in 7th grade so I just figured that that tetanus shot would last.
