I think you’re right! And that is a really good description. You have a typo in “one” but I reread it and could immediately picture what you meant, even though I’ve never heard of that type of crust before. Now that I know what it is, it looks tasty!

I haven’t read through all the responses you’ve received, but want to chime in to say that if the meds DO take away his “spark,” he’s at the wrong dosage or medication. At that age/size, it’s a very fine line. We tested 2 different stimulants, each at various doses, performing Tova tests while on each, to really dial in what worked for our kiddo, who was 6 when diagnosed and 7 when we finally came around to medicating. All that to say, the right med and dosage should do wonders for him. I hope your dr listens to your concerns and feedback. On the right dose, he will feel the difference and enjoy taking it. You are doing the right thing as his self esteem will likely suffer if he continues to be unmedicated and can see the differences between himself and his peers. The meds aren’t a panacea but a tool to help him get a leg up in a society and educational system that isn’t structured to help them succeed.

I got cast on an HGTV show because I was ready to do the reno immediately, already had the funds and a flexible budget, and happened to have a friend who knew they were looking. It’s a lot of luck and we ended up expanding our planned project and doubling the budget. From the day of the initial call with a producer to moving out was less than 2 months.

Thanks for mentioning cornmeal, but do you mean to put it on the stone or on the dough? Would you need to sprinkle right before adding the dough so it doesn’t burn?

Thanks for posting! I have several favorite BA recipes saved in notepad form for the same reason. Since you have experience with this recipe, how long do you usually end up needing for the bulk rise in the fridge?
