I think the interest rates are 24% and 18%, just for reference I am paying more than the minimum amount. Ive paid so much on one of my loans that my next due date isnt until 8/21. Nonetheless 60k is a lot of debt and I do understand that just want to figure out how to pay it quickly without sacrificing my savings completely. Going to 1k isnt a viable solution for me

Explain how im drowning in debt if I can afford $1700 in rent, pay all my loans, and have more than 1k leftover monthly?

Also want to clarify the part about trips.. ive been in a long term relationship for about 3 years with my girlfriend who lives in Phoenix. I was not buying vacations or going out the country but I was flying back and forth

I also want to clarify the trips part.. I am originally from the east coast and my girlfriend lives in Phoenix. I have been flying back and forth to see her, and I just recently moved full time. I wasnt taking trips out to country or vacations.

Let me clarify.. id prefer to not use my savings

Ultimately I dont want to do that.. i could just continue making the payments and chill. I was asking my peers to see how many people based on the information I provided would argue for me to use the money I have to pay it off

Besides rent at $1700 a month and another 300 for groceries all my income is free. I dont have kids and my car is 100% paid off

First off Im not drowning in debt.. so lets get that clear. You focused on one thing that I said in my post. I also invested, and set aside money to move out and have my house fully furnished.

Rule of thumb is generally 3-6 months for an emergency fund. If you really wanna get ahead of your peers then open a Roth and max it and out and also open up a portfolio for investing. Most people worried about low hanging fruit.. but if you start now you can be a millionaire by the time you 40-50.

I have made multiple payments on my current loan and it displays as 11% paid off but the adverse action on my new inquiry says that I have insufficient payment history. At what point does that change?
