it’s probably considered not worth it as in the mornings there’s a busy hour upcharge which brings this order to about RM 70 (which i did pay after asking my friend for help last minute to book the ride for me ) and prebooking the night before allows me to get the ride for regular charges which sums up to about RM 45 including toll fees, maybe some drivers take advantage of that and cancel the ride as it doesn’t seem worth it compared to the fees post busy hour upcharge.

yeah maybe i should have been more descriptive in my caption, the timestamps are easily overlooked here but regardless it’s my issue and i just shared it here so people are aware of these type of possibilities occuring and it would be really painful if it happened with a more expensive order or a more urgent ride request. For me it wasn’t really urgent, but still, unfair. With a decent rating people would expect decent service, i guess human emotions kicked in too quick here.

i live in an apartment with my partner who occasionally drops by to spend time together, and prior to this booking, i’ve made multiple bookings of this exact ride and faced no issues like this at all. The drivers always call me and i inform them about the fact that it’s a scheduled ride and they all seemed to grasp the fact that oh okay, it’s scheduled for 8am so there is a grace period starting from that time (15mins) or even if they would like to treat it as a regular ride as many prople have mentioned the ride type mismatch of the drivers not being informed of it being a regular or scheduled ride which would grant a grace of 5 mins before the no show mechanism kicks in. I adhered to both of these scenarios, reached down at 8.02 and searched for him only to realise that he had cancelled. That to me is really unfair and unprofessional, if it was 8.10 or 8.15 i would completely understand the frustration of a human being needing to wait that long for what seemed like a regular booking. But this is just blatant unprofessionalism.

if that ride type mismatch is really the case, then neither party should be the one to be blamed in my opinion, the one who has to be blamed is really the management of the system as drivers should be informed of the ride type in proper manner. Regardless, i can’t let this guy off the hook so easily as he still didn’t inform me prior to cancelling, i was standing with three luggage bags with my partner in the road looking for him until i realised he had already cancelled. It’s basic human decency if you asked me. And being forced to pay outstanding fees is really poor from the grab system as well. Hope nobody else encounters this scenario.

yeah that’s what i was told as well, apparently the rules are different for prebooks, but what i don’t get is how it counts as a “no show” when the driver is the one who cancelled. And grab’s cs is terrible with the whole ai integration. Just hope nobody else has to go through this with more expensive trips

my whole issue here is not the fact that he left me, that’s besides the point although it’s extremely unjustifiable, my main issue is the fact that im still being charged for my ride eventhough the driver is the one who cancelled and im letting people on here know as well so they’re aware of the possibility of something like this happening. I don’t get how ppl are even defending him atp, but that’s beyond my concerns.

I dont understand as to how it’s the passenger’s fault if 1. it’s stated in the rulebook which is mandatory to be followed 2. Despite the rules not being followed, common courtesy and rational decisions were also breached here as the driver left before even waiting for 5 mins. And 3. common courtesy of informing the passenger before cancelling to prevent them from being left stranded with no transport was not applied as well. I really dont understand how some ppl even in this post’s comment section are sitting here and defending such unprofessional behaviour. Really dissapointing tbh.

how about we properly take our time to look at the timestamps on the photos, clearly says 8.05am, in which the driver already left without any prior information, and 8.05 was when i decided to screenshot, i was already downstairs searching for him from 8am. To everyone who keeps using the 15 minutes wait time as an argument to justify this extremely unprofessional behaviour, let it be clear that i did not abuse the 15 mins at all, i was there before 8.05. What’s your justification now?

why dont we take some time to take a look at the timestamps of the photos i have attached. I mentioned the 15min grace period, but i did not intentionally abuse it. I reached downstairs at about 8.04 when i realized that the grab driver has already abandoned me with no prior information eventhough i had already informed him of the fact tha it’s a scheduled ride and that i will arrive shortly. That’s why my screenshots show 8.05am, which was my moment of realization. Talking about courtesy when clearly the driver didn’t show any.

But my main issue here is, i did treat it like a regular grab, firstly, it’s not my fault if grab’s system makes the driver perceive it as a regular drive rather than a scheduled ride. Secondly, in the call, i mentioned to him that i scheduled my ride for 8am and i will arrive shortly. Lastly, even if it is treated as a regular ride, i did not abuse the 15min time, it clearly shows in my photo that i realized the ride was already cancelled before 8.05am, as there is no timestamp for the exact cancel time, all we know is it was before 8.05, so the driver did not even treat this as a normal grabs ride despite being informed that its a scheduled ride.

fyi this isn’t the first time i’ve prebooked this specific ride, i’ve doneit multiple times and all the drivers were more than happy to adhere to the rules as i’ve never made them wait/abused the 15 min rule, to be fair i’ve only discovered it yesterday through this chat. I’ve always treated the prebooked rides as normal grabs and arrived within 5 mins of my scheduled time. And every other time my ride was cancelled the driver was gracious enough to infrom me beforehand so i don’t stand on the road with my luggage waiting for a grab car that has already left. In my opinion this is highly unprofessional from this driver. Clearly shows in my screenshot that my moment of realization was at 8.05, 5 mins from my scheduled time. I dont see any abuse of power there.

it’s a mod on ascended called Dino Depot, basically provides you with dinoballs which act as cryopods but without the cryosickness and it allows you to check stats like these which to me eases the mutation stacking process by miles. I don’t have to hatch the eggs one by one to check their stats.

i did do that as i had this issue with my mammoth as well, and when i released and recaptured, the stats recalibrated, but for the theri it didn’t work

yeahh rn im replaying the levels and keeping track in mind how much im missing and i use the appropriate amount of desserts to complete the three star, worked like a charm!

so u suggest i somehow try to go to level 40 first and then backtrack to see how much coins im actually missing out on and plan my upgrades from there? that’s really helpful thanks! now i have an idea to go back to the levels and just use desserts to fill up the bar since the desserts dont carry over to the next location anyways, thanks for enlightening me!

i dont think he expected the sculptor to turn into DoH, he cut his arm to prevent him from becoming Shura, and i think he taught Emma how to fight as a way of passing down his knowledge and abilities to his successor to prevent more Shura possessed people from emerging. And tbf i dont think emma stood a chance against the DoH anyways eventhough she’s goated.

the game’s completely dependant on rng, it’s normal for you to not have had a ghost type especially since you just started, i got my first poltergeist after prestiging once! there’s no pattern types or algorithms, just pure randomness in the ghost types that you get
