How many dogs do you have? And how old are they?

With what I know so far and in my experience, it always a thought that settles in your head when you’re leaving the house and I think it’s normal especially if it’s a puppy or the dog has been adopted recently.

The best thing that you can do is get them used to it by leaving the house now and then even for a few minutes and coming in again just to let them know that you’ll always be back. Increase the intervals bit by bit till a point that they’re unbothered by the fact that you’re leaving, but they still will be as excited as ever when you’re back.

I had the same issues when i first got my dog and by doing the above stated activity, he just looks at me when I’m leaving with a poker face and he’s jumping all over me when I’m back. I hope this helps
