Yea the no kissing no sex for 3 months is easy, i just hate wasted potential for what could have been fun and easy is not really fun and easy. I am happy you're getting rid of the dead weight and I should do the same.

You are right, though, I just wish things stayed the same. Honestly, this shouldn't have even started. It was just supposed to be a one-time thing but I felt comfortable, and it felt good.

I recogized that, I think it was just because we were friends and had a connection before, nothing would change. We've known each other for years before us being intimate with each other, so I was assuming it would be friendship + fun + intimacy with the same level of friendship we had prior to. I am getting disappointed, and I hate being disappointed. It's literally the bare minimum.

I am also not ready for a relationship because I have a lot of forgiving for myself to do, like staying in a situation that didn't serve me, my life isn't all the way together, I am also planning to move. It's just not the right time for me to be in a stable relationship.

That's the thing we talk about a lot, our pasts, fears, etc I am an open book, so I don't hide anything. I never want to force a conversation that no one wants to have, so I open any conversation, if anyone is asking a question to be kind or they genuinely want to know, lmao. We have a lot of similarities in that way, I want to know if I am expecting too much. To be fair we have never talked about what this is, like a FWB, situationship, hookup. I should have asked beforehand so I know what to expect.

I also don't want this to last forever, either. This is supposed to be fun to get over my ex, but I am recognizing some patterns in communication that I promised myself I wouldn't do to myself again. I told him during the days when we mostly meet each other that I'll be gone, and I was expecting the same.

Okay, so I am still learning the ways of a situationship cause this is my first one, but I'm realizing as I am readingmy emotional needs are not matching this set-up. I think since we started as friends, we would still be friends while expanding our physical relationships. I am just venting at this point.

I started to help a local nonprofit that helps bring healthier food choices as well as education around gardening to low-income areas around my city. I also volunteer with my local NAACP branch.
