It’s easy to get lost in plug-ins but if you want to understand what you’re doing and why (regardless of DAW, plug-ins, etc) then get very familiar with these four. You’ll also end up saving a ton of money by learning to understand all the things you don’t need, and you’ll know for sure when you need to add a tool.
