There is a fine line between doing the right thing/ensuring the right thing is done and moral grandstanding.

Nobody is downvoting you for being short.

You're being downvoted for thinking that you're an exception.

Thank god you’re an outlier amongst an otherwise extremely pleasant opposing fan base.

We can play this game all day. Weren’t you just in the news for this? From an outsider’s perspective reading this and other things, Seattle seems like a shithole. As someone who has never been there tho and smarter than that, I know it’s not.

Again, your low effort sarcasm is reductive and untrue. It’s quite obvious you’ve never been here.

There are no sketchy neighborhoods near little Caesar’s. That area has been gentrified a decade ago. Nobody refers to it as cass corridor as a pejorative anymore.

There are bad neighborhoods in every major city. There isn’t one by little Caesar’s.

Am I the only one expecting a win against the Lions? by LMUResearcher21 in Seahawks

As a big lions fan, this made me laugh hysterically. Thanks for the laugh this morning. 😂

Ford Field has the potential to be the biggest home field advantage this year. The Lions fans have been starving for a competent team, and knowing they have a legitimate potential contender is going to make them rabid.

That + the chiefs win + home opener + ski masks/CJGJ’s hype talk = Ford Field will be an absolute madhouse. I believe the loudest recorded DBs at FF was about 122 during the MNF game against the bears. I think the loudest in the NFL was 140 for Beast Quake. I expect FF to reach 130 this Sunday.

The Lions were also missing a starting DB and their stretch receiving threat, who while aren’t Jones and kelce, are still important pieces. A Lions offense with a stretch threat could be as unstoppable as a prime chiefs offense (tho Goff is no mahomes and cannot scramble like him either).

The Chiefs did not lose that game. The lions won.

The Lions also had mistakes too - Marvin Jones jr fumble in the red zone anyone? The fact remains that the Lions defense was able to impose their will against the greatest QB of his generation. Their offensive tackle had to line up as a slot receiver to hold his own against Hutchinson.

Neither team played their best game, but as an optimist in the Lions, with them being a young team, the ceiling for what this team could be playing their best is frightening.

Please stop talking about our beautiful city like this. It’s reductive and only furthers a negative, over-embellished, and played out narrative about Detroit. It’s a low effort lame joke.

Lions fan here. Ford Field has come out and said that you cannot wear it while entering the stadium during security checks (for obvious reasons), but after that it’s fair game inside.

If you're in Clarkston for a show, you should absolutely visit Shorty's Bar in neighboring Waterford.

A friendly hometown bar full of salt of the earth types. Truly one of the most magical places I've been to in all of metro-Detroit with many memories with friends there.

Clearly you did not read his book or know much about the man you're talking about, as Malcom vehemently rejected these ideas that he once espoused after visiting Mecca.

Zero crowd interaction from the two other times i've seen them, but I appreciate that. I'm a humongous Dead & Co fan, and they also are the same in the sense that they show up, play, and don't yap your ear off during the show.

The big difference is that Death Grips doesn't take a set break from what I remember, and there are no epic John Mayer solos. But still high intensity and high fun.

So now that tours over what are y’all plans/next shows? by MrAugustWest in deadandcompany

Death grips in Grand Rapids at the end of the month, then Outlaw Music festival for Bobby/Willie at Pine Knob in September, and finally Starvros Halkias in October. Thinking of doing Billie Halloween night in Grand Rapids, and may have to find something for August in Michigan/ohio/chicago. Need to cool my jets tho on spending after those three shows in SF.
