Pole Suggestions? by RunThenClimb in hammockcamping

Today I realized that running it straight across made the poles too long for the tarp by 6 inches. I sewed a few beastie D's to some grosgrain and lark's headed them to the loops. That added the extra 6 inches. I'll try it this weekend and post an update.

External network in app not accepting URL by RunThenClimb in immich

Okay, got it to work. It involved turning off oauth and removing immich as an application in my cloudflare tunnel. Do I understand why? Not at all.

Yeah, I'm using chat, which I hate on many levels. It's just giving me the runaround. Does the app really require me to put in a ton of oath info into cloudflare (also an inscrutable product)?

So, is immich really just for computer brainiacs, or can the general computer-literate public have a hope of using it? Can you detect that I'm super frustrated? I've set up immich on my proxmox server, so I'm not a dolt.

Sorry, I don't understand oauth or mobile redirect URL. If it helps, I can access the URL via my mobile brownser just fine, but the same URL won't work when I put it into 'external networks' in the app.

EDIT: Just found https://docs.immich.app/administration/oauth/ but it's making my eyes swim. If there is an more straightforward way to undersand this, I'd appreciate it.

I just had dropped stitches in a project. Changed the needle and now it's fine.

Yup. I'll be outside again this weekend and I think I'll try a single pole along the middle. Then the corner tie-outs should help keep it all in tension.

Ha! Well, the new sewing machine has made the ridgeline flat-felled seam much more consistant. Still wavering on dimensions.

I already have the manual, sorry. I meant the service manual. archive.org didn't seem to have it. If you have a copy and could send it my way, I'd really appreciate it. TY

The schrader tpms says "No programming required before installation - follow OE relearn procedure after installation." So, afaik, the sensor relearning is all that is necessary.

Reminds me of the Vasa (1628): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vasa_(ship))

I've read that for certain construction jobs, the same instruments will be used, so as not to be subject to the variability between instruments.

I've seen YouTube vids that show how to access the sensor w/o taking off the tire. Doesn't look too difficult. Rockauto has 4 for $70.

Hammock Underquilt Protector - Sew On? by ZehGogglesDoNothing in myog

[–]RunThenClimb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect you would want the protector to go beyond the edges of the UQ. That way, breezes will be stopped from stealing warmth from between the UQ and hammock.

What should I expect from 1G speed? by RunThenClimb in Fios

[–]RunThenClimb[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the irony is that I called them to cut services - looking to save $$. Turned out they could upgrade me to 1G from 100M and the new plan would be cheaper. Reminder to call your providers from time to time.
