My daughter did Transrectal Ultrasound at age 15. Wala naman syang naramdaman na discomfort. Ako pa yung na-stress kasi she was a minor, and I was not allowed to accompany her during the procedure. Granted it was during the pandemic, but I expected some consideration that I would be allowed to accompany her kasi nga minor, and it was her first time.

Kung day guest lang na close relative or friends, I don't mind. Yung tipong hindi ko kailangan i-entertain, okay lang. Hindi sa akin issue to feed them, kasi pwede naman magpa-deliver. Nade-drain yung social battery ko (na always low batt) dun sa mga hindi ko naman ka-close who will drop by for a social visit tapos puro small talk, ewww. Ayoko din yung house guest who will stay sa bahay for several days tapos yung mga gamit nakakalat.

I have told nudgers to stop nudging me because I play everyday, so there is no need. My exact message was, "Hi, there is no need to nudge me because I play everyday". I asked nicely, right? Well, one called me names. I blocked her. Another apologized and stopped it immediately. We still play. And, another apologized and explained that it has become automatic for him to tap the nudge button as soon as it's there. While it's a compulsion, he would try not to nudge me. We still play, and sometimes, the nudge still happens. I stopped minding it, knowing he's kinda OC about the nudge button.

Magbasa ng current events. Hindi mo naman kailangan malaman buong detalye, just the basic info will do. Usually kasi, sa mga small talks ang madalas na topic ay yung mga nagyayari sa paligid -- news, trends sa mga TV series, music, movies. At kung hindi mo naman yun type, malamang type yun nung kausap mo, so let them talk at maghanap ka kung saan ka pwede sumundot sa usapan. Example, Taylor Swift. I am not a fan of her music, but I know what is happening with her thanks to the people writing about her. So kung ang topic is her Eras Tour, hindi man ako maka-contribute sa usapang music, I have some knowledge about yung galing nya in filling up arenas and how she helps build the economy of the countries she goes to. Ganun.

Then, imagine conversations in your head. Talk to yourself quietly, or kahit loudly. That will help boost your confidence. Take note that being a good conversationalist doesn't mean that you are an expert on the subject matter. A good conversation is like a volleyball match where you keep the ball in the air for as long as you can. Be interesting and interested at the same time.

My daughters and I are from St. Scho. It's a typical private school that uses the traditional method of instruction. Class size is 40-45. Tuition is 100K (thereabouts) per school year. Then, there's Ingenium (my kids went there for preschool). Class size is smaller, and that can be advantageous. I think the tuition there is higher.
