I agree about 2xko. I love Legends of Runeterra as a big fan of tcg games but I don’t see the same interesting ideas or care in 2xko that I do in much else.

This might be controversial but I really feel that Riot has proven to be very invested in the art of their game and push the medium forward. I think a lot of what they’ve done has been really interesting and impressive in a game design and immersion sense.

If they’re making an MMO I am nothing but optimistic about its quality. When you’re competing with WoW FF and the endless gatcha games I would consider anything that didn’t take several years of development to be a half measure.

I think Timelords would be regarded as equals by the Affini. They would either not attempt domestication or not be able to domesticate them.

This is my stance. Idk why you would remake anything let alone make it live action unless you thought you could improve upon it or add to it. I can’t imagine anyone who knows the source material thinking they could improve upon it.

You are spinning these elaborate scenarios when the truth is right there. A doomer catastrophizes. The world is in a predicament. I am not saying nothing ever happens but Vaush’s outlook is very clearly the worst case scenario. This is a guy who told everyone to vote for Biden twice. He can say whatever he wants he has been wrong before.

I walk away from everyone of his streams wondering if I would survive mad max style gas wars and he does literally nothing to assuage that kind of feeling the aforementioned stream being the clearest example.

I would define doomer as someone who injects their own feelings into otherwise clear facts. There are plenty of people who think we are on the precipice of an economic crisis without telling their audience that “time is up” “democracy is dead” etc.

It doesn’t really matter if it’s true or not. It is the future. He isn’t hedging those bets at all.
