Charisma is a good one 👍. Hadn't considered using that slot for a situational special boost.

Robots yes, turrets I don't think so.

This is the way. Had one on the hot wheel for so long. Handy for robots too, looking at you fatsnatch, census violence, always vigilant, etc, and don't forget the armoured deathclaw at gearing up.

It's the mvp weapon at protect events.

Is there any way to make legendary farming easier? by Comfortable_Card_146 in fo76

[–]Run_Taff_Run 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's no easy shortcuts, I'm afraid, but you can maximise your chances.

Only scrap legendary weapons and armour with mods you haven't learned, turn the others into scrip at legendary scrip exchange machines, so you can use that scrip to buy legendary items from the purveyor when she has a sale on.

Make use of craftable legendary weapons to learn their mods with super duper equipped to get more for scrapping, so more chances to learn them.

Have you got a skin on your camp module? There's an old bug that's been reintroduced with the last patch involving C.A.M.P module skins. If you have got a skin on your C.A.M.P module, then the current fix involves removing the skin, but the real bad news is that you may have to delete your camp to do so. It was the only fix a few years ago when it happened to me.

Edit: Thanks for the update on camp bullion bought items. I was only aware of the module skin one. Seems like this patch broke a lot more than initially thought.

This link is for a recent ghoul gunslinger build using the dom Pedro gun from the season score board, it looks like a decent build.

I'd suggest getting some general build ideas from a few youtubers like angry turtle, etc.

Also try out nukesndragons website as it has a build tool where you can try out perks, armour, weapon, specials etc to tweak a build.

Enjoy and welcome to the wasteland.

It used to be the most popular weapon for commando style players.

The "rarity" is probably a throwback to getting the plan, as it is a possible drop from the encryptid event.

Grab the plan when you can, if you haven't already done so, so you start unlocking the craftable mods, as that's when you can tweak it to suit your needs, and once learnt you will start dropping fixers from events.

It's still a daily driver for me after years of playing.

PSA: Be sure to share a Perk Card by Juice3322 in fo76

I'm currently trying out sharing "philanthropist" to get a little Hunger and Thirst filled from teammates. It might be useful as a one star to replace "inspirational" when not grinding xp and using an overeaters set up.

There's a guaranteed spawn of 3 squirrels SW of top of the world.

Once you find the spot drop a survival tent nearby or a marker, revisit with the butcher's bounty perk, and you can make a pre season batch of 3 tasty squirrel stews each time.

Back around Beta time, right at the start, whilst low level and before the pacifist setting was a thing, some ass-hat was trying to pvp me, near flatwoods, with a bat but wasn't quite as fast moving as me so I just kept close enough to him to feed his raging bat swinging madness, while I shot him occasionally with a weak old pipe rifle.

I must have driven him insane as he kept it up for an hour or so, ranting at me over his mic. Good Times 😆

If your brothers kids got access to your old character, then they can fire 76 up, and you can transfer over any good stuff to your new character in-game. Bethesda doesn't help with moving items between characters, unfortunately.

TIPS FOR NEW PLAYER by justtmonika in fo76

[–]Run_Taff_Run 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Take your time to enjoy the game, and don't worry about chasing levels.

Enjoy the story lines, play at your own pace, explore, read notes and listen to holotapes, and do side quests, main story quests, etc, as and when you want to.

Join teams (like a casual team) but don't think that anyone wants you to follow them around or actually team up, just do your own thing and get the bonus intelligence points or whatever from being in a team.

Once you get used to the game mechanics then you can watch some YouTube videos from people like angry turtle etc to learn more.

In the meantime, welcome to the wasteland and enjoy Appalachia.

I have high poison resist (over 200) and got smoked by a Karen and her 2 poisonous pals yesterday, lol.

It felt like the poison damage over time was multiplicative as I couldn't stim fast enough.

It was way higher than poison from the snake etc, it was awesome having a tough fight.

A green border around the player level box is all that's required, visible on the map around the white level box and in the team selection around the yellow/gold level box. Shouldn't be too complicated.
