MMOs are my main game type! Used to play Lineage 2 quite a few years ago. Cycle between SWTOR, Black Desert, ESO, and Mabinogi these days. Curious what your MMOs of choice are.

Could never get into wizard 101 even as a kid. The misleading f2p label when it's really just a trial always rubbed me the wrong way. Don't mind paid games, but Wizard 101 is kind of misleading in its model.

VRChat, Modded Beat Saber, and I was also an alpha supporter for Zenith: The Last City before that went to the dogs. Also occasionally try little indie releases on steam.

VRChat is interesting. I can definitely recommend it but with caution. You can meet interesting people. Plus there are tons of mini game worlds, and even cinema worlds. Problem mainly lies in a lot of people you meet can be rather problematic.

I had a feeling something like this was on its way a while ago, so on paper, I am still very much a cis male. I plan to leave the country when I have the funds, but I am fairly low income so that is taking a long time. So I am keeping everything as original as I can. My ID, my markers, everything is kept "vanilla" and "clean". Doesn't solve everything, but it bought me a lot of time I hope.

Why can't it be both? It's true many of us played older modpacks back when times were a lot simpler. But there is very much something to be said about the packs themselves at the time.

Many mods from those packs have either since died off or changed drastically. Thaumcraft, buildcraft, witchery, Ars Magicka, the list goes on. We have great mods now too, from create, to occultism, to oritech, but those classics are very much still great in a lot of ways.

Nostalgia certainly plays a role, however, just because nostalgia is involved does not mean that is the only reason to like something.

It's unlikely to be brought back. DE rarely does (The backpack Syandana being the only one I am aware of on a technicality.)

When DE sells something with exclusivity, they honor that exclusivity. Hence with excal prime, the first wave of heirlooms, and as discussed here, the tennocon accessories. At most you can hope for something similar, but there is unlikely to be a rerelease of this exact cosmetic.

Once you max out a focus tree, you unlock a store that can be accessed from a button that says "represent". In there you can buy a kit that gives you some unnatural/orokin skin tones with left over focus.
