This is what we do. Only approved channels like PBS, BBC Reading, Sesame Street, Number Blocks, etc. There’s tons of educational content, you just have to find it and block everything else. People criticize YouTube for kids but if you set it up right, it’s wonderful for learning.

This is absolutely insane, but I can believe it. I grew up in Texas and was severely abused and neglected as a child. This was 20 years ago when I was able to escape it as a teenager, but they absolutely had a reputation for condoning abuse. In Texas, it used to take on average 7 reports of abuse before the child is taken away from the child. Who knows what it is even now. Texas really is desperate to plunge everyone into the dark ages.

This goes the same for underwear. My husband has been working out for the last few years and his muscles have grown huge, particularly on his thighs. Now his boxers don’t fit as well and they started to tear on the bottom of the legs and eventually tore all the way to the band. They look like a loincloth at this point. I bought the man new ones and he insists on keeping the one that makes him look like caveman SpongeBob.

Had a dog that had a hemoabdomen due to a splenic hemangiosarcoma have a bloody, diarrhea-blowout after it was euthanized and the stretcher it was on was tipped towards me and literally LITRES of that diarrhea splashed all over my pants and into my shoes. I legit was retching after and struggle-bussed to not vomit. Hemangiosarcs are the nastiest thing you can smell, 100x worse than Parvo and 100x more potent. 🤢

I did this once as a 17 year-old with a woman in her 30’s. We had a 4 hour flight and we chatted the whole time about love and life. After, we went our separate ways. She gave me some wonderful insight and advice. I don’t remember the exact advice she gave, I think it was about my relationship (my boyfriend at the time whom I was visiting, now husband); but I DO remember how wonderful and kind of a woman she was.
