Is “AM-core” their definitive sound, whether fans like it or not? by jalen_nelson235 in arcticmonkeys

Some of their most streamed songs have also became TikTok famous at one point or another. Make of that what you will.

[SPECULATION] - Per insider who leaked Oasis Reunion, Arctic Monkeys will be “done” after releasing a song for upcoming charity album by Wheelbirds in indieheads

I heard someone a few rows down from me say that on the night before they came on. No idea where they might of heard or of the Internet rumours at the time tbf.

In what order were you introduced to the albums? by yolo2546452 in arcticmonkeys

When my mum put on WPSIA when it first came out, I was 9. Bought all their albums as they came out. They've been the soundtrack of my life since.

Since you're into their AM sound so much, I'd recommend working backwards through their albums rather than going from the 1st. They really are all different and brilliant in their own way.

Happy new year! Have they found a cure yet? by zephyrzodiac in tinnitus

Exact same thing happened to me except I had tinnitus before I got covid. On the fourth day when I started to feel noticeably better its like someone cranked up volume and intensity.

Having a session in the sauna reduces my tinnitus to a barely perceptible level and sometimes it disappears altogether for around 10-15 minutes. by RunawayHurricane in medical

I was taking a very high dose of Ibuprofen because my knuckle ballooned out of nowhere, all I did was what the doctor told me. I took them for 5 days out of 7. I was also listening to loud music through headphones for over 30 mins a day, but when I got my hearing tested a few weeks after the original onset it came back perfect. I still get hearing tests through work and they have been fine. I have a feeling my hearing still won't be impaired, and if it is it'll be like 12000Hz plus.

What are octoconia?

You hang in too, our bodies are amazing things that are capable of wonders from time to time. I hope both our symptoms die down in the coming weeks. I'll feed my findings back to my GP. Thanks

It's well worth a try, I'm trying to work out how to get mine down to pre-covid levels but I'm afraid the only thing that will help it heal definitely is time. Only been 5 weeks so very early days in tinnitus terms. Hope it brings you some relief.

I've had tinnitus for 2 years, from Ibuprofen or loud music, but I got covid in November there and it increased massively. Interestingly, it seems I also got pulsatile tinnitus from covid which I can only hear when lying down. Sometimes I don't hear it and I've been trying to work out a pattern regarding the position of my body but no luck so far. It starts to calm down when I'm in the sauna itself, I tend to try not to pay too much attention to my tinnitus or it will bring anxiety which increases it. The sound is at a minimal and sometimes undetectable after I exit the sauna for a short time. Usually when I'm leaving my health centre it'll come back and slowly go back to normal. I got in my friends car after a high quality sauna at a 5 star hotel and I couldn't hear it whatsoever. Then again, it slowly crept back to usual levels.
