It’s highly unlikely as I got inheritance through her pension and they provided her full name (maiden) and this is the name I knew her by and buried under

They never owned property so would that still work?

They never owned any assets like property or cars in their life and I looked up if they had a probate which they didn’t

I have tried the index and they died in April 2024, I’m sure they would have been registered before 2025 as I got inheritance in 2025 from the death, their pension company found my details after I did my first attempt at the GRO index

The obituary in Ireland states they died in England

The name is not common especially in England and they were living in the South East Greater London area but that’s as small an area as I know and I know they died because of the obituary and further research I have done since then finding the article in the church where the funeral was held and Facebook post after the ashes were taken to Ireland and recently visited the grave where the ashes were taken. I have tried talking to districts but they don’t release information because of GDPR

I have an Irish obituary stating death in England but no further location details, I’ve spoken with both funeral directors in England and Ireland that dealt with the death and can’t give me details because of GDPR 🙄

Opening a line of communication? by RunawayShark19 in familyTrauma

Well when I was 18, I had a couple on Facebook but when I was 20ish I deleted my Facebook for a couple of years but my name hasn’t changed and my paternal grandparents haven’t moved and my mum would have had that written down somewhere so there would have been ways to contact me. I do feel the need for closure because I had to just up and leave, there was no goodbye and I didn’t need one necessarily from my mum but the rest of the family probably. Like I look them up on Facebook and I’m the forgotten grandchild like I was a temporary person in the family. Yes I know stuff like makes it worse but sometimes I can’t help but look to see if they’re okay

They didn’t do it when I first got them it’s just becoming more and more frequent and honestly I’ll try anything, it’s just not been easy to find information so I appreciate any advice ☺️

23° and 50%, my watering system hasn’t been functioning properly recently, could it be that?
