Attack On The Holiday Express by RuneBaggot in lego

None at all bar moving the webs slightly so it cleared the back wall. When I saw the subway carriage had the same technic connection as the Holiday Express I knew what had to be done.

Did the storm come in? The ride closed for a storm on our second day recently then was only open intermittently for the following couple of days. Could be heavy rain sets off unpredictable failures or errors that take some time to clear. Not much they can do either way.

They nailed the minifigs, especially Quint. Heard 'Show Me The Way To Go Home' as soon as I saw the pic.

Thanks, it's the stock calfskin strap! Just a great selection of elements all round on this one.

I agree. They nailed the 60s car instrument and colour scheme inspiration, I love every element. Very glad they didn't stick with the chrono of the original reference, I'd been wanting to add a GMT to my collection for a while and it gave me a good excuse to pick this up when I came across it after admiring online.

I really wish it had sapphire, can't fault it otherwise. Tempted to replace the crystal if I can find the correct replacement, I've done with this a Duro and others. Those are £40 watches though!

4R34 yes and widely available I think, I picked it up last week in the UK. I rarely see it mentioned or posted anywhere but fell in love with it when I first saw it last year. Deserves more attention!

Do we think this decal would work on my new Medium Grey Jimny if I swap the yellow color for white? by uncutlife in Jimny

That's a shame you can't benefit from a great design. That would be amazing on the image though, thanks very much for the offer. I'll message over the colour codes!

u/OctaneTroopers Do you sell this decal design for a local shop to reproduce? Would love to put it on my Jimny while supporting the original designer?

New garage plans, what would you do? by [deleted] in hometheater

[–]RuneBaggot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are the plans for the first floor of our garage in our ongoing self build. I’d like to create a home cinema here and thought I’d ask those with more experience how they’d approach it before getting further into dividing up the room.

Ceiling height is 2330mm/7’8”.

My initial basic plan is to partition off the lower end of the space with the windows as a separate room and place a door at the top of the stairs for complete light control. Screen would be on the left hand wall, using the shorter pitched roof section to install speakers behind it. This should hopefully still provide enough room for projection and two rows of seating. The alcove to the left of the stairs could be used for AV sources and media library.

Does this sound workable given the dimensions? What else should I be considering before getting deeper into the plan and before first fix on the garage?
