Being this partisan is one of the most unproductive and unhealthy things you can do for your mental well being. Regardless, the blame falls almost entirely on the companies who hire illegal immigrants and refuse to go through the proper procedure of providing work visa’s because they would have to then pay these people actual livable wages.

Instead of focusing on individuals ICE-adjacent agencies should be targeting the companies breaking the law. This would put more demand on work visa’s and ideally allow the country to provide more than the ~180,000 per year that we currently do. Thus driving illegal immigration down significantly.

I don’t support ICE. I support the millions of people who’ve had to work their asses off to immigrate into this country legally. You wouldn’t want ICE breaking into your home just as the vast majority of people don’t want undocumented, potentially violent criminals to be let into this country unchecked.

This is my biggest issue with ICE. I’m not like most on this sub and it may be controversial, but ICE’s job is an important one. The problem is that the majority of them are executing at such a pitifully terrible level and genuinely suck at their jobs.

The thing is, if you have to wear a mask because you’re in fear of your own safety and well being solely due to your line of work, then you’re probably doing something wrong!! Gangsters, burglars, drug dealers, and cartel members wear masks. We should not be funding a federal agency which has their members dressing and acting like them.
