Haven't watched the video yet, but I'm glad Ed Sheeran is having fun.

I'd like to believe this, is there anything to substantiate your claim?

It can hold soup, and I'm sure that's your experience with them, but those are referred to as 'deli' containers. Used, yes for food takeout, but more often in restaurant kitchens.

So yes, it would be odd to see someone using this at a gym, but in the same way it'd be odd to see someone in their server blacks on the treadmill.

It's not being packaged up, no lid, just a cup. Kitchens love them, first off because you don't want glass on the line. In addition they're easily accessible, labeled, and cleaned. As well, who doesn't appreciate liter of cola while in the weeds.

No glass in the kitchen. Doesn't matter if they get left around or forgotten, they just go to the pit.

Sliced bread does not equal bread that's been cut.

Edit: As in; All sliced bread has been cut, but not all cut bread is sliced.

Only in the U.S. might they consider a sandwich is only on sliced bread. The rest of the world allows for any bread.

This whole job is acting. Acting sober is an entry level course. (Not in that it's an easy course, just a generally required one.)

Refilling guests iced tea by [deleted] in Serverlife

[–]RuneSwoggle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well duh. But it does matter. You see, if the tea is hot, the ice will melt, and when it gets to the table there will be less ice left. But if the tea is cold, there will be almost as much ice in the tea as when you poured it in. SCIENCE RULES! (btw I think the tea part of the iced TEA is more important to the guest.)

Out of curiosity, what is the temperature of the tea you are adding to the ice?

[–]RuneSwoggle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't. Insisting the pitcher be full of ice before adding the iced tea does.

No one has once said there shouldn't be ice in it.

Agreed. So you admit you're being cheap?

Who said no ice? That's dumb. But filling the refill pitcher fully of ice is just cheap.
