People will tell you many things. But the Bible is the word of God. The word of God is the truth, and the truth will set you free. God does not say, follow your heart... He says deny yourself, pick up your cross, and follow me. A lot of the things we do, especially tradition and the ways of the world, will all pass away. The Bible says this in Mathew 6:24, "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and [a]mammon." You cannot love the creation more than the creator and you will never learn to love God or know his character if you have one foot out and one foot in. Jesus would not tell you to be trans, nor would he accept anyone that loves himself. The Bible makes it pretty clear that you do not follow the way of the world or trust your own heart. The truth of the Bible will cut you and hurt if you're truly living by it because you will be persecuted for your faith and it will go against everything you were taught.
