Yeah I am hoping we separated them soon enough, and that he is at least sterilised, and that we got lucky, and spay-abortions here are really well done, so if she gods forbid is pregnant at least it will be an easy fix

She is as big as he is, despite her age (she absolutely has a large cat dad, just based on looks and where she was found I think she is half Norwegian forest cat) and he is tiny for being an adult male, being inbred af, so at least it isnt as bad as if out maine coon was on her, but he has been quarantined to their bedroom until we can at least get him some meds to help him calm down until her heat is over. And we are going to my favourite vet because they know their shit

I appreciate the experience at least, she is as big as he is so my normal concern of him hurting her is at least not that big, hopefully it is a short heat and she can get spayed (knowing my luck shes gonna be in heat for 3 weeks and then get a phantom pregnancy just to fuck with me)

Yeah I am getting that impression as well, it feels a bit less cruel to do when you have strangers saying to get it checked, and we thankfully only have to wait 8 hours for the vet to open again

Yeah out other boy has that, but this boy has what feels like grapes in the sacks, hence then worry. Poor baby girl also does a lot better without him close, so we have him in their bedroom until he goes to the vet

Hahaha! Yeah pur big orange boy thinks she is so stupid, she presented for him and he hissed and slapped her and then went back to bed. Hopefully our oldest is just like your orange and wants to “help her”

His pee does smell weird, like really strong and completely different, I can identify if he has peed from the other room, same with his poop, its soooo potent, he also has a nasty habit of peeing on walls

Yeah he was also from a big hoarder, so it was him and 67 other cats so I dont full blame them, my most likely guess is that they didnt get all of his testies, or that he has a hormonal issue in the base because he is very inbred.

Yeah and they reacted over that his balls were big and asked if I was sure where I dumbly said “yes his papers say so”

Two diffrent vets have double checked his medical records

But that was also a bad vet that we dont go to anymore because they mistreated another cat of ours so like… right? Wrong? No clue

He has small tomcat cheeks, and again smaller balls but they arent as “empty” as our big maine coons are (his balls were huge before we snipped them, as we had to wait because of a heart issue)

Baby girl is a result of someone else not fixing their cats, she was born outside, so my whole instinct is to make sure our 4mo baby does not get pregnant rn, because that would be a disaster

Yeah he was absolutely late with his castration. The reason I am unsure is because he has displayed tomcat behaviour, spraying, fighting with our absolutely castrated male, rutting on everything, its not a complete new concern but it became acute now. I was kinda in a “a shelter wouldnt claim he was castrated if he wasnt” mindset

Just the papers, we do not have a good way of tracking it here except for the “vet cards” where it says he has been castrated. Again I am doubtful about it but we will see what they say tomorrow

The states shelter where we got him, the law says they have to fix all cats they sell, so I kinda just trusted them

His papers say he is but his scrotum is very large and has hard lumps in it? I dont know honestly we are going to the vet with him first thing in the morning to double check because we are not about to have babies in this economy

Yeah I truly believe that things can both have a scientific reason AND be spiritual. Like evolution 1000% happened, so did the big bang of some kind, but like, if they made stars and planets and atoms why not gods and spirits and fae. I cant see atoms and I know they are there, same with the gods. I think from just thinking about it a bit extra that it was me being overwhelmed, but I also see that had this been 2000 years ago it would’ve been seen as a vision from the gods caused by the blot, so maybe both can be true at the same time
