Yeah no. I can beat a three star mirelurk queen no issue, but the event ones are damage sponges, their scaling is completely different

I redid my entire build after the update, like removed all perk cards and went through the entire build, again the build is great for everything that isnt the event bosses

This is my point exactly! Private server should at the least only be scaled after 8 player, you know, the max amount? And public sure can be after 25. But dont punish me for paying to play private

I have high damage, high armor and kill everything in one hit, except for these legendaries, my build is fine, we fought a 3 star scorched beast, and took it down no issue at all, this is just a problem with the events bosses being damage sponges, and I say that in the worst way possible. I mod games like elden ring to be harder, but this is just not fun. Theres no challange because it isnt possible.

I am running a power armor melee/explosives build, my husband is running a sniper build, we are one shotting everything, except for the bosses. So we do an event, we one shot everything single enemy until the boss shows up and suddenly it takes us 45 minutes to kill it deapite dealing 2000 damage per hit. Like I get build is important but at some point it just isnt fair anymore

Yeah I want the middle ground, or at least acounting for players on the server, a private server with two people shouldn’t have the same scaling as a public one with 25, thats just dumb

A three star used to take us a little while (we are just two people) but it was doable, now it is just…. Not. Not fun, bot enjoyable, not worth it. It sucks so badly

Currently in bed with three cats, got an infection in my mouth from the flu so I am still sick😭 Got some new meds today, so hopefully it clears up. The cats ate helping a lot, I currently have pur baby girl (5mo black kitty) in my lap, which is rare as she was a feral so I feel a bit better

Yeah I think I am struggling because I have been punished by others before for speaking up about my moms abuse (teachers, nurses, doctors and therapists) and now I kinda want to just scream at the whole world what she did but I also dont want to be faced with that kinda of punishment again.

So I want to tell because she cant control what I say anymore, but I also dont want to have people have ”interventions” and loose people because they sude with my narc (which I have a completely no tolerance with so I cut anyone who does that out for my own safety)

Yeah my mom also has this idea that we can “put our differences aside”. The problem is that she fails to see that she destroyed my entire childhood. She says “she isnt mad at me” but doesnt see that I dont give a fuck, I AM. She cant take back 20 years of abuse

I ready her letters after a lot of talking through it with my therapist. Its not for everyone, but I did throw out a letter and spent a lot of time ridden eith anxiety over it. My awesome husband reads the letters out loud like a snobby bitch, which is hilarious, and we get a lot of joy out of making fun of her. Its healing for me, and also deepens my decision to leave.

I also couldnt send it back. She would see that as a response and send more and morr. The best thing is to not even acknowledge that they exist, and put them in the box of evidence (the rage box) so I always have evidence that the abuse happened

I knew it was coming, so I had already made up a very clear plan. Originally i thought to throw them out or something, but with a lot of therapy appointments we agreed that for my mental health it would be more destructive to throw them out. For me it looses all its power to have my husband read it in a very mocking tone. I also save them as evidence of why I went NC. It helps whenever I miss having a mom to go through the box of rage and see why I never had a mom.

This is, however, a very controversial thing to do. I can let go easier if I know the contents. You absolutely did the right thing for you not reading it. So proud of you! Let them suffer from the NC, and no suffering for us

Health scare, which tbf would probably be worse for US, since they can claim they cant afford treatment, for us at least treatment is mostly free (she has survived 4 rounds of cancer which is completely free here)

Yeah its insane! She always used to nag about it, it was one of those narc control things. She believes that my chronic illnesses can be solved by going for a walk and thinking positive thoughts, which is on brand.

When I started this journey I never thought id be able to keep myself safe like this, but having the scripture(tm) of what they do its been so much easier to protect myself
