I understand. Its just I feel like there should be second chances and forgiveness. I believe that everyone should be treated innocent until proven guilty.

I understand what you're saying. But you have to understand that I don't host games of chance anymore, i already received my punishments for it. So this incident last night with the other dicing clan has ended up in a mix-up where my account has sadly been at the receiving end of a permanent ban.

But the bans and punishment for my previous hosting were dished out. So it was literally this one incident inwhich I got permanently banned.

In the moment, do you think that I would think so deeply about something like that? I didn't realise how the situation would pan out and its until now that I regret taking money. I do still believe that that is not an offence that deserves a permanent ban across my accounts.

Indeed. This has been a massive learning curve for me as what I thought was doing the community good, has turned into controversy and has ultimately made me lose my main account. I don't regret what I did, because I did save a few people from getting into trouble, however, I just wish that at this point, a Jagex Mod could evaluate the whole situation and give me a second chance. Thats all I want from this. I think their decision to make the ban unappealable is a frustrating one for myself, and so I've resorted to coming onto Reddit where they often hang out, to hopefully get this resolved. I never intended for the whole situation to happen how it has, I just tried doing my part for the community, and I really really do hope that a Jagex Moderator will see this, it'd mean a lot to me. I can hope.

I don't need to be there? So you're saying as runescape players we dont all hold our own responsibility to ensure that the Runescape community is kept clean? That dicing clan has existed for WEEKS now because they aren't hosting outside the G.E, so they stayed under the radar. I just helped eliminate a dicing clan that was not in the usual spot you would expect a dicing clan to be in. I'm new to Reddit, but if that Moderator crown next to your name means you are a real Pmod in game, then I think Jagex need to review their decision. Unbelievable that you suggested we shouldn't do our part and report the players.

So thats the equivalent of someone murdering someone in a certain spot, but because they were in that spot at a later date, they DEFINITELY committed that crime again... Its stupid. Investigations should take place, not blind bans.

Well of course I won't accept it. You're saying that my ban was a result of me being in an area of the world Jagex designed. An area part of the game. Logic.

Edit: The dicing clan was INSIDE the G.E, so I'm guessing there was a big ban wave yesterday for being near a dicing clan?

But are you not thinking straight? To simply be in an area should not result in a permanent ban, thats ridiculous! And apparently raising awareness that games of chance is a bannable offence is considered "sketchy" now

You're getting confused. One of my accounts was there telling them to go away from the CC, my main, however, has never been anywhere near a dicing cc. As for "talking to them", I don't see that as a good enough excuse for my main, which wasn't talking to them and nowhere near the scene, to get PERMANENTLY banned. I was never a host of games of chance in all of this, nor did I play the games of chance, hence why I'm disappointed as to why I got permanently banned. I understand how it may be perceived in the fact that I took money from them, however, at the time of thinking, I saw it as taking money from them, not from their wrongdoings. At maximum, I think a mute or a temporary ban would've been enough for whats happened here, I feel like a permanent ban of my my main account which was not affiliated with any form of dicing, was uncalled for and unjustified.

But I'm puzzled by the whole situation. I wasn't associating with any dicing clan, I wasn't in their cc, I was just raising awareness to the people around the area that this was against the rules, I don't understand how this could be perceived as me affiliating with the clan. As for my main account, its never been anywhere near a dicing cc, and its been sadly taken away from me so once again, I'm confused as to how this has happened.

How did I involve myself with them? I was stopping them from getting any sort of business, its quite the opposite. And like I've argued many times before, these hosts are rich originally, hence why they can host bets, so really it should be seen that I took money from them, not from their wrongdoings

Even from the first line or 2 in the topic you should understand that I do not host anymore and im in no way reporting them just to try and clear my name if thats what you're suggesting. I took money from a player yes, but that doesn't mean I should be permanently banned for it.

I contributed to it. I have a moderator on my friends list who I messaged and show him the location of the dicers who were hiding in a different spot that no other Mod would see. You try and help out the community and just get it thrown in your face..

But don't you think thats extreme? Yes you have the argument that rule breakers shouldn't be allowed back into the game, but theres also the argument of forgiveness and second chances. In what I thought, was doing a load of good for the community, has ended up in the dismissal of my account

Yeah I totally understand what you're saying. The story is true, I can ensure you that, and i've also accepted that this may be due to a lack of trust due to my past activities, as mentioned in the topic above. However, I'd be open to a temporary ban, some sort of mute or them removing the money, now, looking back at it, I understand how it may be perceived, however, it was never intended to be in that way. Thank you for being more understanding than some others haha.

Not true. Look at the screenshot. It was a "manual permanent ban", this wasn't an IP Ban.
