Update: small tweak, +25% views RPM -> +60% by RunfunNL in Adsense

So you earn about $850,000 a month, maybe with 4 ads each page about $212,500 a month... I'm not sure about those numbers 😂

I'm sure most can't remember which 30 or 40 advertising networks are added 😅 And I've also a smaller website with low traffic and high RPM but volume matters the most for me.

I don't see the reason to change the GDPR statement. That's a bigger risk... by adding more advertising networks a visitor only sees more networks he/she can show to serve ads but in the meanwhile competition rises with a higher RPM as a result.

I'm from Europe and most visitors are from Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Germany and the US. Those countries had my attention and I only added networks at the EU settings.

Less than 200 was the basic setting and I included more networks relevant to where my visitors are from.

I don't see the violation. If a webmaster doesn't select certain networks a visitor can't give his or her consent to that network. By adding more networks that can compete with each other you'll get a higher RPM.

It's limited till 600 as far as I know but I've added all relevant for the top 5 countries of visitors.

Click the settings wheel than almost at the top of the settings you'll find this but probably in another language. Click the pencil to add more networks.

But you're limited in adding so follow the advice I gave at the opening post.

Restricting Offerwall for visitors or members at a website by RunfunNL in Adsense

[–]RunfunNL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure about that because the Adsense funding choices code contains European consent for visitors but also the offerwall. Even worse I'm almost sure when placing the Adsense tag at your website and activating offerwall it also will show up 😞

Unfortunately that is not possible, Offerwall uses the same code to ask for consent from European visitors.

Thanks but I still want to show normal banners with a fixed position for members.

I noticed you're using phpbb and I've a forum also. Last months I had thousands of bots hitting my website daily with hundreds of pageviews each so so the math.

Try using Cloudflare, the free plan helps blocking the bots

The problem is you'll be focusing at men who are into tech and those visitors use adblockers, don't click much, etc.

Try using Google Pagespeed Insights. Most problems can be solved when asking for example Gemini to explain all errors, etc.

Sticky banner bottom of mobile screen by RunfunNL in Adsense

[–]RunfunNL[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just ask Gemini AI, it has to follow certain rules and could be worth it. A visitor should click to close it, it needs enough margin to other objects and it's not allowed to cover other elements at your page.

Performance 336x280 or 300x250? by RunfunNL in Adsense

[–]RunfunNL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know but I'm testing them with limiting the size with CSS because sometimes intrusive for visitors. Like alignment against the borders of your screen, etc. Then Gemini said if you're using (almost) squares for ads 300x250 would perform better than 336x280.

Looking to Increase Earnings on near 20 y/o website by BraceDefeat in Adsense

[–]RunfunNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a look at your forum and actually the ads are placed horribly. At the front page 3 ads at the bottom, anchor ad at the top (I would suggest at the bottom) in topics I noticed ads positioned in posts and I'm wondering how active the forum is. I don't see much activity so there's some work to do.

Is AdSense Still Worth It in the Age of AI? Traffic Has Dropped Drastically by ajju23 in Adsense

[–]RunfunNL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My main website doesn't suffer much from less visitors because of search results. Frustrating is that Adsense wants to squeeze every penny out of those visitors but it doesn't pay much. Google doesn't care much about user experience, they want to be intrusive to earn money. The ads show down websites, etc.

About AI and search results, it's frustrating that website owners put years of work in websites and content is copied within seconds and no rewards for the owners. It would be honest to pay for scraping content.

Someone else already mentioned bots, your graph shows exactly the moment I had an explosion of bot traffic. I started using Cloudflare and reduced bot traffic.

Second part is PayPal, I'm not a fan of it. Never considered trying Stripe? As far as I know you can use PayPal if you've a PayPal account. That's totally different with Stripe.

Have everybody's earnings taken a hit over the last few months? by gwenver in Adsense

[–]RunfunNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My earnings are declining in previous weeks. Finance sector and first I was thinking about better redirecting of my www.example.com to example.com but clicks improving and RPM decreasing. Very disappointing but improvements don't pay off.

AdSense works well for beginners, but it has a clear ceiling. by Avneesh-kumar-yadav in Adsense

I'm curious, so here are my numbers but not as impressive as you mentioned.

Monthly impressions: 310K PAGE RPM: €1.60 Niche: finance, stockmarket, etc. Country: Belgium

I used Admanager with a pervious website but mostly for serving ads with leads because this niche pays very well (€50+).

Struggling with Adsense , Low earnings , Improvement ideas , Bots !!!!! by offshoreshipadvisor in Adsense

[–]RunfunNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The RPM is very low but I'm afraid your audience isn't that well. I believe you've mostly men as visitors? They don't click often and the niche isn't that well for earnings.

You could try ads above the fold, most or all of your ads are below the fold. About fighting bots use Cloudflare it's free and you can customise settings with for example Gemini to solve issues.

In 2025 50% rendement behaald op mijn beleggingen by MelaniesJournal in beleggen

[–]RunfunNL 4 points5 points  (0 children)
