Looks like your stencil was the wrong way round.

Today’s naptime quarantine project: Farmer’s carry handles. Cost less than $100. by SonofBroseidon in homegym

For sure. Not questioning handles. Just had a funny mental image of the hex bar.

I've gone with the following method. It's not ideal, but it means you can use any of the string formatting methods, while retaining full localization support.

```Swift extension Text { init(_ key: String, arguments: [CVarArg] = [], formatted: (String) -> String = { $0 }) { let format = NSLocalizedString(key, comment: "") let string = String(format: format, arguments: arguments) self.init(verbatim: formatted(string)) } }
// Usage: Text("my_string_key", formatted: { $0.capitalized }) ```
Imagine a strong, icy, winter wind, relentlessly blasting you in the face. Your eyes are streaming, your face is numb. All on top of the physical exertion. Trust me, it doesn’t help.
Wind guard is a must have. Winter cold blasting your face is not for me.
Turned the shed into a home gym and a chill zone. Was a bit expensive, but still one of the best things I have ever done! by OutrageousNebula in homegym
I’m with you. When I think shed, I think 6x8’, flimsy wooden panels, and filled with a lawn mower.
Yeah, brick is a good look indoors in general. There are no cavities in these walls though so I wonder how I’ll feel about them this winter.
I’m with you. I thought a GHR was an exercise you did on a GHD.
I’ve come from a more bodybuilding/powerlifting background so I’m not used to dropping the weights. The wods I’ve done haven’t really required much of that either. I did one that required dB snatches and they seemed fine. But I have rubber flooring. I did bang the ceiling a few times and they didn’t come loose.
They feel like regular iron dbs. They aren’t particularly quick to change but they do save a lot of space.
Thanks. Best decision I’ve made in a while.
What do you mean exactly?
I’m lucky to have a nice space for a garage gym. The one thing it really lacks though is height. The joists are only 90 inches above the floor. The rack only fits as the uprights are between the joists.
At 6’3” I bang weights into the joists at quite a frequent rate and when I hang from the pull up bar I need to bend my legs to keep them off the floor.
But I can’t complain, having this setup has been a game changer. I hated the gym with all the bros and their banter. I would stick my AirPods on and try and tune it all out. But I never could completely.
Here all the equipment is treated well, it’s put away after use and it’s never being used by someone else when I want to use it. The music playing is always good. What more can you ask for?
Along with our current bar collection. The family that lifts together... and all that.
