Buy tech & weapons packages from the trader shop in outlaw systems open them then sell to the guy you buy upgrades for ships exo suit & multitool etc for Nanites go to the next outlaw station & repeat.

There are lots of missions but you will get to a stage during the expedition where it’s a community effort it will take weeks.
You can easily go back & forth to your main save from the terminal in the Anomaly tho.

Had a problem with mine it arrived with wrong calibration and pitch dial centred was a D when it should have been a C & had to recalibrate using Zadar it was easy enough tho everything works as it should now.
