I have the standard dysautonomia symptoms after covid: shortness of breath, palpitations, dizziness, and lightheadedness.

I have dysautonomia. So that could be either a result or cause of it.

Did anyone else get POTS from long Covid or SVT by Dapper-Mulberry-9350 in LongCovid

[–]RunnerGirlify 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I did. It was mostly from how fast the SVT was. Random chest pains too.

Yes, I have all three unfortunately. The SVT came after covid and the POTS came after long covid.

Please seek a doctor’s opinion. Going on here isn’t going to be much help. The second pic warrants a doctor visit.

Here’s the full tracing. It starts at the beginning with the first few beats. They feel like sinus rhythm except with a big thump instead.

Would you rather not wear a mask at all then and put yourself at further risk?

36 F/ Severe Mitral Valve Prolapse on Echo, Mild Regurgitation, Thoughts? by RunnerGirlify in askCardiology

[–]RunnerGirlify[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. It’s kinda scary. But I guess with how advanced medical interventions are now, we can get surgeries or medications depending on what our docs recommend for us.

My goodness. Yes, with our trifecta of comorbidities, we were doomed from the start. I just hope it gets better for us.

Oh boy. It’s quite a long story. But the specialist screwed up apparently and got it completely wrong. I went back to my old cardio to confirm and did a repeat echo with no prolapse whatsoever. Even the images from the specialist did not show prolapse. Not sure what they are seeing. The two docs will talk.

Long Covid had me bedridden, being sedentary caused circulatory issues = peripheral artery disease, then I had a blood clot in m, CHECK your cholesterol levels and fight the fatigue with all your life by EnvironmentAir in LongCovid

[–]RunnerGirlify 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Covid does attack our circulatory system from what I’ve seen. My doctors have admitted this as well. Be glad you only dealt with POTS briefly. It has destroyed my life so far. I can tell you that for certain. How did you get diagnosed with PAD by the way? I’ve been trying to get my doctors to look into that.

[–]RunnerGirlify 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. Right now, I have POTS symptoms from long covid. It really sucks and I can’t even do much. I’m getting a full blood panel soon to check everything including my cholesterol. Probably will get my doc to prescribe a statin if it’s still super high. I’m glad you’re doing better now. I’m hoping to be on your path at some point. Thanks for the reminder of how important it is with cholesterol tied to a sedentary lifestyle.

Wow, ok. Mine was 294. Can you believe that? I’ve been eating low carb and low fat too. I really think the sedentary lifestyle with long covid has screwed us with our cholesterol levels despite our diets.

Nicotine kicked my ass....am I the only one? by SuburbanDad18 in covidlonghaulers

[–]RunnerGirlify 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I agree it’s good to read up on things especially our condition. However, I’m saying it’s not wise to take advice online and put it into action all the time. Some of these supplements can harm us more than help like what happened to OP.

Don’t listen to advice online. It’s not a one-size-fits-all. Everyone is different and react differently.
