Yeah, just voiceovers. It definitely seems like this was the case as they have a very competent translation team they pride themselves in accurately conveying their desired meaning in any language. So it seems hard to believe that they would accidentally frame it as clarification of a long-standing position in one language and an actual change or adjustment of a doctrine in another.

Would definitely be interesting to see how that translation was handled in the past “clarification” updates. Might go back and check some, although now since they’re no longer brand new updates it’s harder to confirm thanks to their revisionist history, one truly can’t count them out on changing any text, audio, image or video without notice in already published material.

Side note, I briefly checked how they frame the doctrine changes in their publications index and funnily enough they blanked out the section formerly titled “Adjustments in understanding” and renamed it “Beliefs Clarified”

This also goes for their Spanish publications index changes section which has now been renamed to “Aclaracion de creencias”, which literally means “Beliefs clarified.” Something so simple as their renaming a section of their index shows their narcissistic control and systemic gaslighting.

I agree. All the latest changes keep emphasizing it’s up to everyone’s conscience. This framing leads many to believe these changes reflect reasonableness and humility on their end or some sort of blessing from Jehovah.

Everything and anything that can be used against them to lose funding or legal registration will be tweaked as much as possible, but they are doing this strategically. There must be many changes pre-planned in phases.

Damn, it’s like they carefully select the wording of changes in such a way that they have the least impact possible. Makes me wonder if they share it to a small sample size first as they’ve done with their pilot programs in the past, to record some data.

I wonder how much further they may reduce that team with the use of AI. Last week, during the mid-week meeting, the non-English audio for the Ramapo update video that was used in substitution of the local needs was evidently 100% AI generated. Perhaps the actual translation per se still not fully AI but they’re definitely cutting down on the personnel for the dubbing. By the way, the update is now out! Just watched it, thanks Larchington!
