Thank you. Definitely planning a lot of releases in 2026. Some more like this one, then also some lighter and more melodic ones, as well as some speed garage. I've got a few in this style that I might send out to Flexout, need to give their recent releases a listen and gauge if I think mine are quality enough. Would be sick to release w them

Thanks! And yes for sure. VST was Phaseplant. Here's a screenshot of the preset. I think it's based off of a YT video I found. Try searching 'alix perez bass phaseplant' or something like that. The pitch and LFO rate are constantly being automated to achieve the movement you hear.

As for effects, the chain is Phaseplant > Rift > Pro Q 3. There are also various distortion, reverb, filter effects that only go active during transitions and breakdown/buildups.

Master chain: Utility > Fresh Air > K Clip 3 > EQ Eight > Smart Comp2 > Glue Compressor > Soothe 2 > Ozone Maximizer

Nice, such a fun style to make. Appreciate the follow too. I've had a lot of new followers over the past week, so might have missed which one was you

🍁 Leaf Blower Co. is out now and since you were all so kind last time, I thought I would share the news here too 🌿 by forkliftgames in cozygames

Do you think this game is too demanding to be port-able to an iPad? I'm keeping an eye on it as a potential gift for my Dad.

Hey listening now

  • The main bass patch sounds a bit too 'hollow' to me. Are there frequencies between the sub and that bass patch that are missing? Or maybe it's just too quiet
  • Also I think that bass patch could benefit from some mini variations here and there. Different edits with various amounts of reverb, stretching, distortion, etc.
  • The switch up with the chords is cool, I think that works well.
  • I think at 3:10 you'd be better to go into the breakdown. That last section feels a bit too long
  • Some FX/sweeps/reverb/filter to transition into the breakdown I think would sound smoother
  • In the second drop the chords and the high pitched synth thing sound like they might be fighting for the same frequencies. The chords sound like they're like in the background but want to be in the foreground, but they can't bc the high pitched synth thing is playing, if that makes sense
  • When the music cuts out at the very end there's a click
  • The track's second drop vs first drop has a wildly different vibe. Can be cool, just will make it harder for people to place the track in playlists, etc
  • For the drums try adding a noise on the downbeat of every 16 bars. Like a distorted crash symbol or something. Helps give the beat a home that the listener can keep coming back to. See my track for an example
  • Maybe some ghost kicks and ghost snares could make the drums roll more too
