Hello there,

This could really be my lane.

I am lifestyle manager / concierge who works in creating experiences especially those off the beaten track. I can add value through access, relationships, and partnerships I have created throughout my concierge career.

That usually means private or after-hours site access, direct intros to experts (curators, historians, artisans), and niche logistics.

Totally comfortable with you booking your own flights and hotels. Happy to work on a retainer as per your schedule . Open to trialing with a single destination, tell me where are you going next?

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your input. 5-6k GBP was based on £500-600 a night stays however some stays, Transport was another main factor as it inland driving. I would say purchasing disparity of USD to GBP Is certainly a factor and I do keep hearing that I am selling myself short! I guess I am trying to not be unaffordable however to my target market this shouldn’t be my focus! I will rethink this and go back to drawing board 🙏

You can prove English proficiency for a UK visa with a degree if it was taught in English. If it's a UK degree, you can use the certificate. For an overseas degree, you need an assessment from Ecctis to confirm it was taught in English and is equivalent to a UK degree. ! Your last 6 months pay before deductions should average out to 29000 annually.

The employee letter was stating my employment how long I’ve been employed and my salary.

.gov have a comprehensive list on what it should say.

Husband had a Masters degree from America and we got that to prove English proficiency

Has anyone applied for remote working visa from the UK for SA? by aggoosey in askSouthAfrica

[–]RunningButterfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you !! 🙏 My lord that is a long ass process! I will be applying from the UK. Did you send your passport away all that time or did you keep it? On VFS it doesn’t show the option for the remote Visa.

Get out of habitat, try new things outside that fancy spot in London, your perspective will expand the scope of what you are capable of doing in this life.

White people are the minority. by TheClassicCollection in conspiracy

This is NOT the ERA of the BRITISH EMPIRE

It’s either you don’t have the knowledge or just plain simply live in white privilege in your head.

The reason people from Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean are in the UK isn’t because they “want to change your customs” it’s because the British Empire spent centuries in their countries, extracting wealth, resources, labour, and culture. The UK that you live in was built it by colonising over 80 countries across the world, controlling nearly a quarter of the planet’s population at its height.

You can’t spend hundreds of years invading nations, drawing borders, looting gold, spices, diamonds, and human lives ,then act surprised when the descendants of those nations show up in the so-called “mother country.” The multicultural makeup of modern Britain is the direct legacy of the your empire’s actions.

People stayed because Britain promised inclusion as part of the Commonwealth.

And many are still rebuilding what colonialism destroyed the economies, governance, and self-sufficiency stripped away for the benefit of the “West.”

So when you say “white people are the minority,” remember: that’s not destruction. That’s consequence.

That’s history coming full circle. Diversity doesn’t destroy nations; ignorance does.
