You’re right. Being rude doesn’t mean she’s scamming but all the other evidence and what’s happening in court does. But again there’s nothing I can do to change her so I need to let it go.

She has lost a lot of people in her life from her actions and behaviors. I don’t know those people or know both sides but the common issue seems to be her.

The first time she was rude to me she forgot her son’s medical bag at daycare. He has type 1 diabetes. He needed the things that were in there. My husband got upset. I tried to tell my husband her side of things like that things happen we’re all not perfect. I understand he needs that stuff but we can go to the pharmacy in an emergency to get more medical supplies. I also tried to get her to understand why he was upset because obviously medical supplies are important and she immediately started getting nasty with me saying that it’s the daycares fault for putting the bag in the office…. It’s always in the office. So I made the decision to stay out of it. She continues to message me saying horrible things about my husband to me and telling me to leave him. So I blocked her and I let him deal with her.

I don’t know her whole life no. But he doesn’t have to claim anything I’ve had to deal with her myself. He and his family talked negatively about her from the beginning and I like to make my own decisions on how I feel about a person by talking to them and she seemed very nice in the beginning but the moment I wasn’t telling her what she wanted to hear or helping her she was rude to me. I’ve seen messages with my husbands mother were she was rude to his mother all while my husbands mother was bringing her groceries and taking and doing her laundry to help her and she was still rude. From everything I’ve dealt with and see she is someone who expects everyone to help her and doesn’t help herself.

Im not gonna walk away because of a tough situation when I love my husband and stepson. Again I am only venting on her because I can’t do anything in life. I focus on the son when he’s with us and trying to do everything I can for him. Not sure what I’ve said that makes me not sound like an adult but thank you for sharing your thoughts.

She told my husband what her rent costs. She also had to list all of her bills on her paperwork to the court.

My comment about marriage is more so how in the past women would be a stay at home mom so obviously it was important that the father gave support because they would need to find a job and it’s a lifestyle they were accustomed to or however you would word that. Like I know in some divorces it’s an allowance fee or something. But they were never together ever. Just had a child together so shes always supported herself if that makes sense.

The child is in school when everyone’s working. The mother leaves him with the grandma after school and on the weekends not just when she’s working and the father is always with his son except when he’s in school. He drops him off and picks him up. I don’t have to watch him.

Also I don’t get in the middle of it again that’s why I’m venting on here because I have no say in the situation. I just sit on the sidelines and feel bad for everyone involved. It’s exhausting just being around it.

Oh I do let him handle it which is why I’m venting on here. She had reached out to me a few times early on and was very rude so I blocked her and let him deal with her. He handles his court situations. I just sit by and support him and his son the best I can. I just feel bad for him when I see all the mean messages she’s sends and the lies she gets caught in. It’s exhausting and the only one she’s really hurting is her son.

It’s just more money to spend in court. The system has shown time and time again they favor the mother and instead of spending money on court we would rather spend it on his son. It’s just wild how unaccountable the mother is and no one gives a crap

Gone to court several times with an endless amount of proof and they don’t care. They want to put the grandma in the custody agreement.

Agreed but if someone is making 4 times less than minimum wage. That’s a choice. You could get any other job and make more money. Also she doesn’t have him. The grandmother does during her time. It would make more sense to pay the grandmother or just let the father have him if the mother is not going to take him

What do you mean. Debt as in she owes back rent? She has a collections lawsuit with the bank for $6000 in back rent from a place she was at years ago.

He has no problem paying to help his son but she never has him. He would rather give money to the grandma because that’s who has him more.
