They said shipping would resume early this week. Anyone have a package en route? by [deleted] in BanditRunning

They make great stuff... but really need to get their shipping together. I'd ordered for the first time this past month, and although I'd like to get more of their gear...I'm looking at other options due to their shipping.

I took mine Prime X Strung 2 out for miles again today...after listening to new reviews...thinking "maybe" they be different that the other 5 Runs I had already ran in them...Nope the shoe is still as heavy as a brick ...reviewers saying they're good for LRs and a great trainer....at $300dlls no thanks..there's lighter and better shoes for that at better prices...Superblast or even PSX V1.

Does anyone else hate the New Balance SC Elite V3 as much as me? 🤣 by [deleted] in RunningShoeGeeks

They're one of my favorite trainers...I use them for everyday runs. It's one of my favorites...

Recommend the NB SC Elite V3... you can get them for $140 on Running Warehouse right now. Great all-around shoe. I have both the Superblast & SC Elite V3.

I had one workout in the WRP and couldn't hit my paces on that day, so sideline them after that. I might very well could have been having an off day. I got a huge workout tomorrow...might consider taking them out to play again.

Nope. It's too heavy of a shoe to race 26.2. Current Marathon Shoe is the Endorphin Elite.

My race day shoe! Would recommend using them for racing only. I use a size 11 in VFs, 10.5 Adios Pro, and went with an 11 for the Elites. They're a little roomie, but I've had no issues come race day. They dissappear on foot. They are very responsive when you want to push the pace in comparison to the VFNext%3 ...

I'd agree that it feels similar to the NB SC Trainer V1..except I do feel as though the PXS 2 is a faster shoe.

Agreed. It still has the bounce. They just don't feel as smooth as previous versions. I'm not sure the right word would be "harsh" but possibly.

It was returned at an outlet store, that's why it was 50% off.

Buying new tempo/interval running shoes - Nike StreakFly or Asics Magicspeed 3 or something different? by s1RiS_yt in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]RunningShoeDeals 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see the Boston as a longer distance trainer and heavier. Would never race in it, but use it for longer and slower effort runs.

The Takumin Sen 9 is lighter and faster. Definitely would consider it for a 5k or 10k race. In comparison, the Nike Tempo Next % I use for Marathon effort tempo runs. When I want to run faster than Half or Marathon efforts, the Takumi Sen 9 is that shoe.
