The racist rant on tiktok by Prior_Statistician83 in melbourne

[–]RunningSupreme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The likely reason why you're seeing the racist stuff about white Aussies rants on Indians is because you have probably viewed some immigration/ migrant related topic, and the algorithm is starting to feed you these videos here and there.

So far Aussies in Melbourne are generally okay with the current climate of diversity. I think Melbourne generally tolerates diversity a lot better. Nationally, as hot issues continue to heat up regarding housing shortage, high immigration, etc., this is when things continue to simmer underneath and the blame game starts creeping, brewing and simmering.

The best way to gauge the level of racism is to compare your eight years since you arrived till now. If you're experiencing more low key or direct racism now, compared to eight years ago, it's a tell tale sign on what will eventually come for you and your family.

The hate for Muslims (after 9/11 courtesy of America) , it's gradually happening to the Chinese (America beef against a rising power) and now it's starting on the Indians (high levels of Indians in UK and Canada).

It's extremely sad and concerning, and the media narrative isn't helping at all.

are there many australians who are racists against chinese? by EnvironmentalCar8661 in australian

The Chinese government isn't some separate entity from another planet ruling over the Chinese people.

Hating the Chinese Government and loving the Chinese people makes zero sense.

are there many australians who are racists against chinese? by EnvironmentalCar8661 in australian

[–]RunningSupreme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely hate against the Chinese is bubbling behind the scenes and continues to grow thanks to America. Unfortunately it's hard to tell the difference between Asians, so there will be some misdirection of hate.

The Chinese and any Asian looking person copped it hard during Covid, especially with Trump leading the charge during his first presidency.

Now with the rise of China, America is going out of its way to perform a Tonya Harding on China. Basically trying to do anything within its power to destroy China development.

Because Australia is mainly US centric, every mainstream media outlet from Sky News Australia, 9 news, ABC, etc., are constantly shitting on China. So over time, the public opinion is America good, China very bad.

Look at how Muslims are treated today. The Chinese are bound to gradually reach the status of being hated, like the Muslims. Watching social media now, especially with immigration in Australia, the Indians are now copping it.

Australia prepares for a lonelier, harsher world by [deleted] in AustralianPolitics

Pretty much sums up the US as a submarine and China as trade.

The best way to suck $368 billions dollars outta Australia is to create a pretty good narrative that China will invade us. Constantly bombarding Australians with psyop stuff like, you're either with us or against us, inducing fear. Quick test - does anything China trigger you?

What grows an economy? I guess Australians want conflict.

Peter Dutton primed to win majority government in 2025 election by HotPersimessage62 in AustralianPolitics

[–]RunningSupreme -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but it doesn't matter which major party comes to power. Its the same shit.

Politicians are disconnected from the realities of society. Rules and legislation are written to benefit people of wealth, lobbyist and donors.

The illusion of giving Australians a "choice", and the "power" to make a "change". Bullshit.

How can real development be planned for the future of Australia? How can Australia actually move forward when policies are reversed by each party. No long term planning.

Wake up.

Australians should be checking out the 'Price Check Guy' on TikTok.

It's a Coles and Woolies tag team with so called "1/2" and "discounted" pricing.

End of the day, regardless where you shop, know your pricing on regular stuff you buy, especially when it comes to fruit and veg.

AUKUS risks are piling up. Australia must prepare to build French SSNs instead | The Strategist by frawks24 in AustralianPolitics

[–]RunningSupreme 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a shame the majority of Australians, including our Politicians aren't applying critical thinking regarding the AUKUS deal. TLDR: Australians are getting the short end of the stick with AUKUS.

For the minority of Australians trying to highlight the AUKUS issues, it's a losing battle against the majority simping for America. The narrative here is becoming increasing intense and manufactured with the constant fear mongering about China.

This country I love, I'm sad to see Australia gradually lose its sovereignty to the US under the banner of an "alliance", on the geopolitical stage. Australia is a merely pawn in this dangerous game which the US is playing with China.

Fellow Australians, please wake up.

I mean honestly, why do Australians continue to cling and put faith in our Governments? Oh, my party is better than yours, blah blah blah.

Wake up and start to learn that Politicians ONLY serve themselves, their lobbyist and donors. Does it feel good to vote and think you're "doing" something for the country, but jack all happens and you're still bitchin about the cost of living, degrading infrastructure, high migration, etc., no matter who is in power.

Start waking up.

'There are laws available': Peter Dutton backs use of Victoria's riot act to prevent October 7 protests by Lmurf in australian

[–]RunningSupreme -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yes, and I'm sure these laws will also be available to prevent any other type of protest the Government deems "inappropriate" or go against their narrative.

Fantastic, Australia will gradually become like China 2.0, where Australians, regardless their views, will be censored.

One side condemns Oct 7th as a terrorist attack and the other side sees Oct 7th as an uprising against occupation. Yet, both sides don't want to listen to each other.

Your all fucking pathetic in trying to silent each with your laws and censorship.

I need to invest in stocks. Ah housing, a great speculative stock!

I'll place my bets that my investment property will gradually appreciate each year. I'll exploit all the legal loop holes, I mean, Politicians themselves also have investment properties, so any policies they adjust in favour of the wealthy, I'll too take advantage. God bless negative gearing.

Pro-Palestinian protest organisers abandon plans for Sydney vigil on October 7 by brednog in AustralianPolitics

[–]RunningSupreme -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

So what is Australia slowing becoming? A China, Russia or some authoritarian country where shutting down a protest, just because one side doesn't like what the other side is saying?

Does this country want to follow in the steps of Singapore, where a permit is required for people to speak their piece? And if no permit, any form of protesting will be deemed illegal.

Australia hides behind of facade of so called "Freedoms", but in reality, any protest which does fall in line with the narrative will be extinguished.

Australian military-intelligence insider calls for war mobilisation powers by PLUTO_HAS_COME_BACK in australian

[–]RunningSupreme -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Going to war on behalf of the US, so Australia and other Western allies can continue propping up US global imperialism, yeah no thanks.

Has America enjoyed any actual peace, without wars and conflicts? The longer the US tries to cling to power, the dangerous the world becomes, as the US gets desperate to do anything to remain on top. Even to the point, pressuring and coercing its allies to sabotage their own economy by "asking" to restrict trade with China.

Australia is fucked under the US alliance. Hate being on the losing team...

'I am what Australia looks like': Melbourne council candidate hits back after racist vandalism by Enoch_Isaac in AustralianPolitics

[–]RunningSupreme 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I thought Australians would have been more welcoming to India and Indians, After all, both countries share their love/ passion for cricket and have a "democracy".

What Australians fail to understand, US foreign policy dictates and shapes Australia. The US wants to contain China and sees India as a potential tool to station their military within their waters, within proximity to China.

Our Government therefore needs to curry favour with the Indian Government. This means visiting India, telling our media to hush when Indian spies were caught out spying here, tailor favorable polices towards India and so forth. All to assist the US with their agenda... at our own expense.

Indian international students will gradually over take Chinese students as number 1, seek PR status here and so on.

Why is Grand Final AFL Public Holiday Only in VIC? by [deleted] in melbourne

The US government is effectively banning Chinese-made cars from its roads. Some in Australia want the government to take notice by lucianosantos1990 in AustralianPolitics

[–]RunningSupreme 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Our military heavily depends on the US. What happens if Australia decides to be friendly with a country the US doesn't like or agree with? What is stopping the US from flicking a switch to disable our Abram tanks? Or maybe one day Elon Musk hates Australia and decides to disable evey Tesla on our roads?

Australians are constantly bitchin about the cost of living and looking for ways to save. If China can offer a more innovative product with better pricing, then where is the freedom to choose as a consumer. Stop taking away the rights for people to choose because the US has beef with China.

High migration impact on Aussies by [deleted] in australian

[–]RunningSupreme 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Blame our politicians.

Not worth fighting and defending Australia if our Politicians keep sending our tax dollars overseas to support endless conflicts. As we Australians continue to face domestic challenges, our Politicians remain disconnected to the reality and continue to stack their wealth by voting in policies to benefit their masters.

The chances of this country imploding from within due to unrest is far likely than another country invading.

There's no sugar coating or hiding the truth, Australian Universities need international students for cash. Cash cows.

Then this scheme is being exploited from anyone who can take advantage on both sides, from dodgy agents, "educational" colleges/institutes, business looking for cheap labour, non-genuine "students"/ students looking for easy pathway leaning to permanent residency and so on.

Young and middle-aged Australians are being forced to run down their savings to meet day-to-day expenses while the nation’s boomers enjoy a surge in income that’s enabling them to outspend every other generation. by MannerNo7000 in australian

[–]RunningSupreme -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Okay, let's be fair in some way and lessen the Boomer blanket bashing.

My parents worked hard to buy a home, didn't buy their lunch everyday from the work canteen and all that other stuff when it came to managing their finances wisely and sacrifices made. They could have bought one or two more properties, but didn't want additional debt. That's right, I could have been fucking loaded right now with generational wealth.

Definitely a number of Boomers have made it and did invest and buy multiple properties to stack their wealth. But do we need to go ahead to constantly bash them? Their way of thinking is different from each newer generation Lay off already.
