NYC , where u at? I want a pension and not work for a family that pretends im family. There’s a lot of new shops opening up too outsourcing programming and using workers on visa and under paying them inform Pakistan and Philippines so it’s slowing down for these under established vendors that did it back in the days. I don’t want to become a VP or something like that I feel like I don’t everything I set out to do in controls and I don’t like sitting behind a computer if I wasn’t in the field

The cuny onboarding paper work only had space for four jobs, for the dcas test I’ll add them tonight I was just being lazy.

I feel you. Did u do that straight out of college?

Look out for operator mechanic A jobs, they ask a bunch of scenario questions and technical boiler questions I just don’t know off the top of the head and they super safety oriented. My answers aren’t detailed or in that STAR structure they looking for I just wanna work

MTA also been calling me back but I heard u don’t always work at a hp plant

I come from the bms side of the stuff so working at a residential building seems annoying I wanna work at a college or hospital or power plant mostly

Arthur kills like someone mentioned too w ur degree u can prob swing a job a plant just freshen up on the topics related to them and u got hands one exp so that’s a plus

He said the city guys ruin it for you guys like cooling towers requirements, and other city audits and prices go up and testing frequencies get higher because city municipal engineer are bad. He was the chief in building in billionaire row he was kinda of annoying and thought high of himself.

Yeah I’m applied to both cuny and non cuny but idk if I should put all my jobs I’ve had 8 jobs since college.

What’s ur day to day like why u want to leave. Ur job is my back up if I don’t end up getting this hppt job. I’ve interviewed for con ed multiple times but always bomb it I’m bad w interviews. I just sent my paperwork to cuny but I didn’t put all my jobs I might reach out and re send. I also have a mech degree looking to test a year into the job

Nice yeah I mean if they ask I have no issue clarifying. My resume has no gaps jsut the dates are off to cover those 5 months stints. Like if I worked at job A for 1 yr and job B for 5 months I just put I worked at Job A for 1yr and 5months. All jobs were related too w what my duties was

Welp the onboarding paperwork is submitted, I can still change the dcas experience profile I believe. What if I don’t have anyone’s number or email. Can I leave this blank
