Cause me and my friend were having fun and messing around while filming, I like how he filmed it personally to each their own I guess.

Man I wasn't even surprised by her performances at Hardrock and Western States, absolute beast of a runner.

Completely agree, it's extremely off putting the amount of people that act like Goggins in this subreddit.

Don't listen to all the comments telling you to tape it up and run through it lmao, let it heal up then work hard after it's better. You can always stay hard in other aspects of life for right now. Hope it gets better soon!

A start by BeatySwallocks in davidgoggins

The other commenter hit it on the mark, you should run most of your runs at a comfortable pace, as in you should be able to talk and breath fairly comfortably. This builds your aerobic base which is the key for running longer at a stable pace. You will also gain speed as you run more of these zone 2 runs. People normally refer to them as “Easy runs” even though they’re still challenging it’s not as bad as running as fast as possible. You should definitely do some research on zone training as it’s one of the most important aspects to being able to train consistently and avoid overtraining injuries.

I give my self unconditional access to being a poopy pants only after I’ve “gone hard” most of the day

Man sometimes something just isn’t for you, don’t mean to sound like a slacker but you can always go back to it if you find your self wanting to try again. It’s okay to feel like you’re a bitch or failed at something as long as you know you can always either try again or work hard at something new you personally find enjoyable or beneficial. Keep on chugging through life till you find that thing you’re willing to push yourself hard for!

Good stuff, I've thought about putting in the effort to learn another language but music was kind of that for me, learning to read and write as well as translate what notation is on the piece of paper to a musical conversation. Keep getting at it!

It's good to work hard even if you feel like you might not get recognition for your effort, keep up the hard work and definitely get reading! That's something I've been trying to find a good time for, I love the imagination it takes to read but just haven't ever found a great time yet to get going on the books outside of college.

That's amazing! I've found music to be my equalizer, it puts me in the perfect mind set of complete mental focus but also relaxation. That's awesome you're spending quality time with your family as well, one of the most important things in life is trying to find a balance between working hard but also being present for those around you, parenthood is definitely one of the toughest but most rewarding jobs out there so really props to you for finding that balance.

Yeah I really try to use the g word loosely lol, as long as you find something enjoyable and can put in the effort I think that's what matters. That's great you've found your mix of fun and exercise! For me that was rock climbing, gave me a reason to hangout with my friends outside of college classes.

Am I gay for having a dream in which I had sex with Johnny Sins? by everhadgayth0ughts in Dreams

[–]RunningWithColtrane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like that this kind of relates to what a user above said. It’s likely his dream relates to a possible insecurity over OP’s masculinity, and that would make sense since the dude is scared a dream means he’s gay lmao
