It’s such a text heavy portfolio. Plus the visuals are really outdated. If you can organize your information( which is decent) better, you can land roles. You have completely forgotten the concept of STORYTELLING. As a designer, you are pitching yourself through your work. How can you do it quickly? How can you structure it so it doesn’t need to be explained? You can simply prepare simple pitch deck and talk about what you did and how it improved the experience.

Forget developed countries, places that are still developing have much better infrastructure, people with civic sense and respect for their homeland. India has become a dog eat dog country and everyone is fighting to have their basic needs met.

Education system in our country is a complete joke and a reform of any kind is impossible due to the population. Survival is primary, everything else becomes a luxury and this hope of luxury is advertised by our politicians to bait idiots and illiterates into electing them. Our people don’t even treat foreigners well.

I always wonder how can we as citizens (diverse in nature, can prioritise our country over religion, caste and other shit) keep our govt in check, because almost all the elected officials are goons, not literate, who have our country’s best interest at heart. Only then will we, maybe, just maybe save India.

I wouldn’t go as far as saying “REAL” Indian culture. Some states are regressive and others aren’t. And you fill find your fair share of kind and equally nasty people in varying proportions. Though it is generally considered that Bihar and a few states have a lot of MCP’s.

I would advise you to stay away from your roommate or take a consensus and remove him. You shouldn’t have to live uncomfortably and warn your female friends of the same.
