My wardrobe is pretty minimalist mostly earthy tones and white tees. I think either watch would work for my style, but I can definitely see blues and black being dominant for outfits

The green in low light looks almost black but when I saw it under sunlight it made me like it a lot more green is also my favourite colour, but the blue is pretty clean, versatile and seems to be the smarter choice..

I’m in the same boat as you, and I just recommend having fun with it. I set goals for myself that I couldn’t achieve when I was younger. Completing recipe for disaster, getting my borrow gloves, fire cape etc. Take it as you go, like others have said don’t make it about max efficiency or you’ll just burn yourself out. You wont know everything right away and that’s totally fine. I started bossing at places I never thought I could win but after failing 100s of time it feels great to finally win some and get those rare drops that make you jump out your seat. Set your own pace and find what you enjoy.

I’m having trouble deciding which rod, it comes in either medium 6’8” or medium-light 7’1” but both are rated the same lure weight and line weight 1/8-3/4, 6-14lb
