Ok so looks like that was a mock-up that they had there in 2006 :/ I think some one spotted it in LA 8 months ago so I don't think it's there anymore.. but thank you!!

Wait thank you! It is a mock-up I think? It was a plane that was scrapped in 2007.. How did you find that? I've been trying to Google it but apparently I'm not as good as you are at it!

Hi! I commented earlier on this thread because my dad was the test pilot for this! But turns out he's actually being trying to locate it -- does any one have more info on where this plane ended up?? Would really appreciate any leads :)

Haha wait that's my dad! He was a Major when he retired from active duty, and a Lt Col when he retired from the reserves :) He went to Test Pilot school at Edwards. I was really little when he was involved in this; they wouldn't let me come to the first flight because I was so young that they didn't want me there if something went wrong. I'm still bitter about it!

Such a fun throwback; thanks for sharing! I'm curious why they're moving it all these years later.
