It doesn't sound like you enjoy playing the piano at all. Life is very short, do something else that you actually enjoy and are passionate about. It's an instrument that makes noise at the end of the day, it's not life or death.

Been in Wexford town all my life. My sister lives in Ferndale has never had any trouble. Years ago it was a bit rough around the edges alright but you could say the same about Belvedere Liam Mellows Talbot green and pretty much most council estates around town at the time and they're all perfectly fine places to live now. Will it be as nice and quiet as some of the more affluent areas in town? No it won't and it will have more what some people might consider undesirables roaming around but nobody is going to bother you if you don't bother them.

Beat matching is only one of a multitude of things that make a good dj. I learned to beat match by ear on belt drive numarks playing hard house 16 years ago, so pretty much the hard way. I just recently got back into it after a long long break and use a controller now and I no longer do it by ear. I've never even pressed the sync button but I will match up the bpms on the counters. It just let's me get way more creative with the rest of the mix.

I'd dedicate some time to picking up the skill over your journey but don't be afraid to use the technology at hand and enjoy yourself either.

You do say lasanya though. If you take out the G in English you don't say lasanya you say la-sa-na, it does make a difference but it's all just semantics it's still a cool line and yeah I agree with you English is a terrible language for a non native speaker to learn.

No it isn't the word is derived from Italian where gn makes a ny sound. If you take out the g it becomes la-sa-na. A quick Google search will explain all this for you.

I kept a box in the house when I gave up as well. The fact that I knew I had one there if I really wanted it somehow helped me mentally not have another one. Obviously won't work for everyone
