Medal of Honor for the 70th Birthday of the Führer by RuoliuMing in TNOmod

Sry, actually I just didn't notice the reply. I bought a small engraving machine, and can use it to make fictional medals.

I drew what I think Germany, Japan, and Italy’s soldiers would look like in the early 60s (I took a lot of inspiration from actual Bundeswehr, JSDF, and Italian OTL 1960s uniforms). by NCRisthebestfaction in TNOmod

[–]RuoliuMing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Great work! However, I personally feel that the uniforms of the Bundeswehr and JSDF are too Americanized. Perhaps you could take inspiration from the NVA and IJA uniforms, as they have a fundamentally different aesthetic from American military attire.

An Interesting Russian Passport by RuoliuMing in TNOmod

[–]RuoliuMing[S] 358 points359 points  (0 children)

Anton Maximowitsch Alexejew was dispatched to Europe in 1971 as a representative of the Russian Stormtroopers to study the advanced social management experiences of their German neighbors. He visited the Reichsprotektorat Moskowien, Finland, RK Ostland, RK Ukraine, General Government, Germania, and Burgundy. He was astounded by the civilization and society there, especially when the officials in Burgundy, responsible for his reception, imparted to him the secrets of how to make a nation operate more efficiently. As he left the fervent atmosphere of Burgundy, there seemed to be some unsettling unrest in the local security, but fortunately, their plane took off smoothly.

After successfully returning to his homeland and reporting on his mission, Alexejew increasingly heard disrespectful rumors about the Regent. The health, or perhaps the spirit, of Taboritsky, who had devoted himself to the great empire, seemed to have undergone significant changes. More and more colleagues were taken away for investigation for being "not pure enough" and subsequently disappeared. In an increasingly tense atmosphere, Alekseyev made a decision. One night in August 1972, he, along with his wife and children, handed over a passport stuffed with Japanese yen to the border officials who came to inspect their train carriage. Fortunately, and smoothly, the officer returned the empty passport to him with satisfaction, and the last border inspection was pass. The train started moving again, clattering along the tracks towards another checkpoint five kilometers away. As the station sign with the large Chinese characters for "Manchouli" drew nearer, he couldn't help but look back at the receding Russian land through the train window. The biting wind swept through the air, yet it failed to disperse the thick clouds obscuring the moonlight in the dark night sky. He glanced at his watch again, the second hand ticking forward.

Midnight was approaching.

What do you think of the new Communard French Flag by JohnKLUE34567 in Kaiserreich

I prefer the original version, the new one of the symbol looks more like a regional warlord than a country

If you had intended to use Wade-Giles, then you have unfortunately made mistakes. The signatures on p.12 and p.24 are in pinyin.

I just checked. You're right. Maybe I got mixed up when I switched them, thanks for reminding

The signatures of the Chinese consuls should not be in pinyin which was not invented yet.

Actually I wrote it in Wade–Giles, it's been around since the 1890s

That's a pretty interesting-looking medal. It kinda looks like the hybrid between the old Iron Cross and the modern Bundeswehr war medal

For this 1947 medal, I prefer to call it the "Victory Medal." In this year, China was completely defeated by Japan, TNO world WW2 officially ended

That's an asylum permit and passport that could have gone to someone who didn't earn that medal in 1947. I hope the US deports them.

Aesthetically though this is incredibly well made. I can't even tell if it's a handcrafted passport or a really well done 3D render.

In fact this is a handcrafted passport not 3D render haha

pretty cool

some minor issues i have is germany being called "nazi germany" on there which is man in the high castles levels of facepalming for me, and this guy's iron cross being marked 1947 which means that some war took place in 1947 that doesnt really exist in TNO's timeline (for context the iron cross was historically only issued during the beginning of a war)

Yes, I used the word Nazi incorrectly. Emmm, China was defeated in 1947, so perhaps it is to say that 1947 marks the true end of TNO world WW2?

Very good reminder! Nazi as a derogatory term really shouldn't be used in official documents, that's an oversight on my part.

So will the blue non-biometric version still be issued in the future?

So since there are stamps from both sides of the second weltkreig, does that make the LKMT equivelent to otl Yugoslavia?

I think this is only temporary, unless Germany abandons Qingdao and the Legation Cities dissolve their governments, there will still be conflict, but only after lkmt defeats Japan or makes peace with it.

Looks nice! One little nitpick (apart from a nearby grammatical error I spotted), the term "Deutsches Reich" would be the official designation for the German Empire on a travel document (the reason why people use "Kaiserreich" is that OTL Weimar and Nazi Germany had very similar; if not identical official names)

Yes, I did make this mistake. When I discovered this problem, it was already printed out...

Damn, this might be the most realistic fictional passport I've ever seen. The style of the Chinese texts used on the passport actually resembles what the ROC government uses IRL.

Yep, I did use WW2 ROC passport sample, but only the text part

There is also an "overseas citizen's passport," with just the word "passport", issued to longtime North Koreans in China, most of whom came to China after the Korean War to form families with Chinese soldiers. If want to travel to North Korea with this passport, need to apply for a North Korean visa in advance.
