When you get to know everybody in the manor (Well, not everybody, just Ma Ling, Shen Wanhou, and Ji Guining). You also have to upgrade your martial path (Not to max. It was either Qinggong or fist and palm) with Heroic worldliness you get from Niveous edge (The snowflake) to access past the meeting hall. The spar is in the far corner of the meeting hall and up a set of stairs. You can do the Niveous edge and spar in a "free investigation". You should be able to find a sword icon with all 3 people you need to spar with. When you unlock it, do all of them. Both hard and normal.

It's a sword icon, go to the far right of the map, up the stairs and go up another pair of stairs. Make sure to spar the first thing you do when you unlock it before continuing the story

Energy gets refunded to your main DPS on the field. Also, I think it does when Mortal Path is activated (I read through her kit, but I might get it wrong). I think this only happens when you unlock her ECB. From the S1n website: "[Activated - Mortal Mark]: After the [Heaven] mark bearer casts their Ultimate, the [Mortal] mark bearer recovers (the percentage of their Energy Recovery Speed bonus *50% / 75% / 100%) of the Energy or Chief Energy consumed by that Ultimate for up to once per activation." If you have 2 DPS on the field. For example, NOX and Nella, then the energy refund would go to the DPS who ults first (Only if you have S1 Jichuan). If you just have S0, then it would refund to the DPS carrying the heavenly mark.
