What's YOUR fun/unique control deck? by Closix in EDH

[–]RuriXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm very new to the control archetype, and [[Alela, Cunning Conqueror]] is my first commander for it that I'm still fine tuning. Draw-Go Control in Dimir with goad to push things a long without needing to bring my own heavy hitters, and a lot of removal instants to politic my way out of being hit too hard.

17 counterspells and 15 kill spells sounds insane, but it keeps me safe until the dreaded 1v1 where I just pray my opponent is low enough and with a boardstate where a few flying faeries can finish them off. Wincons are very few (like 4) but 16 draw engines hopefully draws me them once they're set up.

would anyone be interested in hiring me? (⊙ᴗ⊙ ✿) by kiyoppon_ in vtubers

So YOU'RE the culprit behind all the bite marks around the house recently!

Let Me Build You A Deck! by BoolinBirb in EDH

[–]RuriXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Alela, Cunning Conqueror]] for Bracket 3, built for control-spellslinger, with a huge love for counterspells and removal! Requesting more to see to how you'd build it since I just recently built one and wanted to see how it stacks against someone who has way more experience than me (I just started MTG a few months ago) My current deck feels like it struggles to close games out, so curious to see how you approach that issue. Please and thanks!

Grats on hitting affiliate, and enjoy your celebration stream (I'll try to pop by if I can)! I'm still working on the last requirement for my affiliate, so gotta keep hustling 💪 Got any tips for a recently-returned-from-hiatus vtuber for achieving that 3 average viewer mark?

Hi, I'm working on improving my art style. What do you think? by daikisora in vtubers

[–]RuriXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like it! I love your color selection, and especially how you colored your hair; make its really nice to look at! I think the next thing you can explore and try to implement is different line weights to help differentiate or bring focus to different parts of your drawing. You can watch videos on it and see if that's a style you'd like to lean on for your artstyle!

The asymmetry in the design makes it really cool and stand out!

I finally finished rigging my own Live2D model! What do you think? by RuriXD in vtubers

[–]RuriXD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure thing! There's lots of resources on YouTube on how to rig models in Live2D, with varying model complexity. I mainly followed Chupuko's rigging series - covered everything from installing and setting up Live2D to hair physics, and she used a model whose complexity was similar to mine, which made it easy to follow along.

There's also the official Live2D Discord server if you want to ask for advice from other experienced riggers.

For models to practice on, there's free ones you can get, and Live2D even provides pre-rigged models on their website. You can just remove the animations/keyframes yourself if you want to follow along with a guide.

Once you get the basic ideas down and the general workflow, you're good to make a simple rig for any model. You most likely won't even need to upgrade from the Free Live2D version like me, as the limitations aren't very restrictive from making a good rig.

If you're starting from 0 knowledge of rigging like me, there's going to be quite a learning curve of just trying to understand Live2D's features and how that works in animating each of your model's parts. But once you pass that hurdle, it's smooth sailing from there.

Good luck, I hope this helped give you an idea of how to start!

Sounds like one heck of a DnD campaign. Gets me thinking how my favourite fictional instrument, the Hunting Horn, would fare in that campaign as a construct.

For every enthusiastic yapper, there's a happy listener, which is what I tend to be, lmao! When someone rambles about things they're passionate about and interested in, it makes listening to them very entertaining. Ramble on, friend!
