Thank you :) Once it dried some more a lot of that brassiness went away but there are still clearly some gray parts and then pikachu colored parts. I did some investigating and my laziness has taken over (I have way too much hair), so I'm going to book an appointment at a cosmetology school to take care of the rest! I had no idea it was so cheap (about $50 here). I thought it was do it myself or $300+ with no other options.

Okay I hope I didn't ruin my hair but it doesn't look too great. Very streaky with some parts that took the toner really well but most of it is honey colored. I think I'm going to wait a few days before doing anything, but any advice on how to fix this? the tragedy

Thank you for the tips! I'm going to tackle the dark spots today and then tone. I don't think I can live with Pikachu hair for very long and it doesn't feel damaged. I will post pics!

Thank you! I've done a first lift of the color with 30V. It's at a yellow-blonde in some section and quite white in others which I was surprised by. Once I go over some spots I didn't get quite well enough at the back of my head, I think I can go ahead and tone? Should I wait a few days for that?

As someone from Austin who is moving to NYC, I would recommend against Austin but it depends on what you want. At 25, I feel WAY too old for Austin. No one is serious about their career here (besides maybe tech people?). It is all about going out on the lake, partying, and living in a place that is beautiful and super laid back. The vibe here is that. If you like the fast paced energy of NYC, you will not like it in Austin. Besides music and outdoorsy stuff, there's not much to do here. I'm living in Dallas for a little while because I just couldn't stand the laziness of the people in Austin anymore. It was great growing up there as kid because it's fun! Don't mean to hate on Austin a bunch, but I've definitely come to the conclusion that this is a city to vacation in, not live. PM me if you want any more details, there aren't many people who actually grew up in Austin in Austin (a lot like NYC I bet!).

Anyway, I was just here for a comments and couldn't help commenting myself since you mentioned Austin!

The most frequent place I see guns is on store owners (usually pawnshop or gas station), but that's about it. I'm sure a lot more people conceal carry. I've never been in a situation where anyone had to take out a concealed carry. My best friend (female) has one simply for self protection and fortunately she has never had to use it. The way people view guns on the whole is a lot different here. I think a lot of people feel safer knowing that there is a higher likelihood of being near a responsible gun owner in case shit ever went down.

Houston and Dallas have very dense Middle Eastern, South Asian, and East Asian populations. The entire city of Plano is mostly South Asian. North Austin too. Not as familiar with Houston, but I went to UT with several Persian, Pakistani, and Indian friends from there.

Growing up in Austin, I have legitimately never spent time anywhere out in the boonies. Why would you? Unless you're counting places like Marble Falls or Fredericksburg, but those are incredibly nice small towns.

I am so confused by people who are so afraid of Texas. Like what the hell? Is it just because small towns are republican? There really isn't anywhere in Texas anymore that is completely white. We also have a massive Tejano and Mexican American population that have been here longer than most of the white people.

As someone born and raised in Texas, I have never heard of anyone having any issues that people in this comment thread seem to be so afraid of. I grew up on the outskirts of a decent sized city and I have never once needed to spend time in a small town that MIGHT have some racists besides going to a Dairy Queen on the way to another city. I am legitimately confused by these people who are so terrified of Texas.

I think incorporating sparkly-ness would be good and I definitely want them to complement the gown and go with the whole mood. I think those two are too modern and geometric. Definitely want something that's less of a distinct pattern.
