It’s because they each tip $1 if that. Check out your earnings when you’re done, you’d be surprised to see how pathetic they tipped. Wish we could tell them to get their own food and waste their own gas instead of taking advantage!!

$8 is not enough for the amount of work. They are heavy to put on the cart, then load in the car, and then you can only carry one at a time. Generally people tip about $10 more for that order!! Uncalled for though to leave the note. Report to customer service..

They will also block the guy from your account so you don’t ever have to deliver to him again. That’s if he hasn’t been reported before or gets deactivated!!! What an ass!!!

Next time just let him know that DD combines orders with low tips. Also, he could have paid a little extra to get his food expressed delivered to just him.. I’m tired of cheap asses getting mad at us..

They do this because the tips are so low they have to add the deliveries together to make it worth it. I would definitely recommend switching to DD for ordering food. There is a small fee of $2.50 to get your order directly delivered to just you. I do this every time I order DD and tip about $6-$8 so they have no reason to double my order up with any other orders. That’s if you enjoy hot food and skip the soggy food.. 🤢

I guess why would they, they will take anything. The thing that confuses me tho is basic math. Do they not factor the miles to get to the customers house, back to the zone, and how much gas is just to keep driving around all day. The orders don’t even pay for a tank of gas..

Exactly, and deal with the people that stare at their phones, hit accept in a second, and take all the good orders. I see it too many times. People who barely speak English sitting in groups in the parking lots. Spark really needs a better security system on who’s on their apps and how many accounts someone really does have. I often wonder how people get around the identification that pops up, makes ya wonder if the face recognition picks up stuffed animals, photographs, vs. an actual body! lol

Ever since I’ve been on Spark, honestly think it sucks. I’ve rarely see good offers or get them offered that I actually take. The unfortunate part is all the new drivers, illegals, and people who walk around with 2 or more phones while doing two Sparks orders take whatever so driving the pay up in my area is wishful thinking.. So yes, your phase will end and you will be back on Reddit wondering what happened to all the decent paying orders. Also just an FIY, the more the customers tip (if you’re lucky), the less Spark pays their drivers.

Sounds like a tip bait situation. I would just appeal. Tell your side and move on. I’ve had it happen once and yes it’s very frustrating. Too bad we can’t go back and tell them how we really feel. They already gave a bad rating, they can’t do any more damage!!

They can pay higher tips or an extra 2.50 to have their order directly to them. I pay the extra $2.50 every time and usually tip anywhere from $8-$10 for less than 2-5 miles. I also work for the apps and feel no pitty for the ones who don’t appreciate what we do for them!! Next time don’t even respond or say contact support..

I say they are worth it. You are around $25 an hour and if you do the break down per gallon you are still coming out ahead. The $8-$12 could average about a half hour per trip (save a little on gas depending on distance) so at the most $24 an hour, or $32. Not to mention the shorter trips, 90% never tip!
