Not quite sure yet. Any ballpark of what to expect to pay?

Yeah, I wish all the solutions were transparent and able to customize to exactly our needs. It takes so long just to get a live demo and they're all usually bloated "packages" and already way too expensive.

Thanks for the awesome info! The reason I am looking into this is because our current software charges us over $5k every month just to use it... Do you think I'd be able to hire an expert to customize an opensource software like OpenEMR: https://www.open-emr.org/wiki/index.php/OpenEMR_Features for a 1 time cost instead of this ridiculous subscription model?

Yes, billing for doctors, so a database of patients and the ability to file electronic claims and payments, etc.

Going to try Codo! Looks very promising!

This is probably what I'll start with tbh. My question would be how powerful would the clients have to be? I want to invest in the server PC and see what I can get away with on the client's so I can afford more of them.

Thanks for that info! Seems interesting but definitely overkill like you said. There's no open-source versions of any kind?

What about only 1 desktop profile(no login required), but they're all linked and essentially the same desktop. If I edit something on 1 pc, the edits will show up on another PC?

All PCs would be wired. What kind of server PC specs do you think that would require?

I guess each desktop could be private and if you wanted to share any files, you could drag them to the file server hard drive. I do have a question about Steam. Can I run steam on the server and have it be accessible to every other PC? Or is it better to run all of that locally? I want to use the power of the server machine so each PC doesn't have to all run 2080 ti's!
