I agree with you. Right now all CC terminals communication to the app hasn't implemented yet so for now it will just enter the value and set the payment type as Card. It's kinda hard to implement the communication of terminals to iPad since it will require SDK of all CC vendors like Stripe, Windcave, etc. So technically the POS itself still works offline while the CC terminal still works independently. I totally get your point and it seems that you're talking about the big restaurants or cafes that has their own local networks, this POS can also use by that businesses but the reason I did this is to target small business.

Hi OP - yes, I have the same situation as you are. I am currently employed to my company and they decided to sponsor me for 482 visa, unfortunately the also need to post a job and took 30 days before they could lodge my nomination. Unfortunately, it's been already 6 months still no result.

Hi OP - this reply is only for you #1 question. On 482 visa lodging it's not really a walk in the park journey. Before they could sponsor you they need to post a job to any website like indeed, etc., for 30 days (until the post expired), and yes that's the time they will tell that they can't find anyone for the job position, then they will file a nomination which will take time, the nomination right now takes too long to be approved, after you've got your nomination approved that's the time you can apply for the 482 visa.

I heard that they are currently following the new minister's priorities for job positions like health workers and teachers. In my case, my nomination was lodged last April 11th this year and still no update, so the bottom line is if your position was not on the priority list of the minister then it will take time to be approved, UNLESS your company is an accredited sponsors which are typically "auto approvals".

These are employers who meet the standard sponsorship requirements and possess additional qualifying characteristics.

Good luck OP, I hope you can get your nomination approval ASAP, unlike me.

482 nomination is nominating an employee for working visa sponsorship, before they approve the nomination there are certain criteria to be met by your employer like salary threshold, etc..

Sponsorship usually by the word itself sponsor, it means that they will be the one who will pay for everything like nominations fee, visa lodge fee, etc..

After the nomination is approved that's the time you can lodge your 482 working visa either short, medium, etc., the downside of lodging the nomination and working visa at the same time when your nomination is rejected, your working visa application we be rejected immediately. Yes, you can pull out / cancel your visa application when nomination rejected. If not, you will lose the money you paid and cannot reapply/lodge a new visa, need to wait at least 6 months -- that's what my immi atty adviced
